"The owner here, Branco, is a great guy and very helpful. The only problem is that the property is about a mile or so from the Hvar Old Town so you either have to rent a car or walk the whole distance, which isn't terribly safe. The hotel has two small swimming pools but nothing was entirely open when I stayed there in late April. Apparently, things really heat up during the summer where I imagine there are more things to do."

"The property was beautiful and the view was one of the prettiest we have ever seen. The pool and beach areas were lovely and maintained impeccably! The massage we had was great ! Additionally the wellness facilities were wonderful, however, they do charge to use that even if you book a service. The only drawbacks were that there are only a few restaurants nearby, however, they were all good especially Lupa and the smaller Italian restaurant attached to Bar None had the best gnocchi ever! "Our stay at Pharos was perfect! It was exactly what we hoped for during our stay in Hvar. The highlights included the breakfast buffet, which was large and full of delicious options, the pool and pool bar, and the proximity to town and beaches nearby. a few things to keep in mind, to reach the hotel by foot you will be walking uphill - a very easy walk uphill in our opinion but an uphill nonetheless, they do offer baggage pickup and drop off at the Hvar ferry port if you are coming in/ out on...
