Dog-Friendly Family Retreat Near Chincoteague Bay!

"Our stay at the dog-friendly family retreat near Chincoteague Bay was great! The home was clean and had everything we needed, and the central AC was much appreciated during the warm afternoons. The three bedrooms offered ample room for our family of four, and we loved being able to travel with our pup, who also loved the house. She especially enjoyed gazing out the living room windows and greeting the deer passing through the back yard!The location was great with it being a short drive to Chincoteague Island where we checked out the local stores and restaurants, as well as the beautiful beach. Ocean City MD with its boardwalk was also an easy trip, and we saw some of the famous ponies when stopping by Assateague Island! Our host was awesome with quick responses to any question as well as helping with the amenities passes which allowed us to use the beautiful indoor and outdoor pools!Overall this was a great spot and would definitely stay here again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shore Shanty. Booking and communication with Seaside Vacations was seamless and the representatives communicated well. The property was spotless and in a great location at Captains Cove… a very friendly community… safe to walk and ride bikes around in. Very happy that the property was dog friendly too. Would definitely recommend! "

Newly remodeled quiet single-family house by the bay

Peaceful Easy Feeling

"My family just returned from a wonderful weekend in Greenbackville. This was our second trip to this home. The house is clean, spacious and well stocked with all the supplies we needed in the kitchen and bath areas. We will definitely book another stay. The owner was great to deal with and was quick to answer any questions we had. We love the area and enjoy our morning coffee on the back deck in such a peaceful environment. We even saw a bald eagle one morning - so majestic! Easy drive to Chincoteague, Pocomoke & Berlin. "

The best community gem!

"I cant say enough about how amazing our stay was. The house was wonderful. I wish we had more household items, like dish detergent, for the length of stay but that wasnt a problem. The community and residents were very friendly. The proximity to Chincoteague is perfect. We stayed an extra day because we didn't want to leave. We are already planning our visit for next year. Thank you! "

Bright Greenbackville Vacation Home w/ Game Room

"The house was nice but not clean. The stove was a disgusting with food burned on which we cleaned other than the underneath of burners. supposedly all food was to be removed from fridge which it was not also food left in freezer. Floors were not clean. Clothing left in dressers so we could not utilize all the space and in closets several items crammed in of owners i suppose. No room to hang clothing. No dresser in one of the bedrooms. Also, upstairs tub was dirty with a ring around the tub. I suggest the owner inspect the home after cleaners have come to make sure everything is up to par."
