The rooms are very cleanly and newly remodeled. Nick, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Make sure you stop by and say hello, he’s a Great guy. I will definitely book another stay there.

Perfect stay for the occasion. The room was spacious & recently painted/redecorated. The hotel is being renovated & a few minor items could be touched up (for example, some paint drips & nail touch-ups, the grout & base boards retouched), but nothing that impacted a clean, quiet, comfy nights stay. The parking lot & general area felt safe (as 2 solo women travelers). The staff was very friendly & I will stay here again. Look forwarded to seeing the finished motel!

Super pet friendly! Large fridge. Bed & sink area were exceptionally clean. Bathroom area had a huge rust stain and spots that looked pretty disgusting but when i went to clean with disinfecting wipes...realized it was from the water & not detrimental....if the used CLR it probably would come out. Water smelled very rusty. Only had soaps ...no shampoo or conditioner. Could not get a hold of hotel to confirm late arrival...when we got there they said that they have been having phone problems for days. Expensive for type of hotel but easy to take our puppy out and appreciated the poop bag availability and trash can outside right across from parking.

Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. The man at the counter was so friendly and chatty. The room was ok, air conditioning worked amazing. It appeared to be a room that used to allow smoking as it smelled and there was tar build up. It was a little run down looking and not the cleanest but it was fine for a couple nights. A little work could really turn the place around.

The staff we had interaction with were very nice. The rooms were decent. We can tell it was recently renovated but not by professionals by the looks of the paint job. But at least it’s clean. However, we booked two rooms so that we could take our six year old grandson to the pool since the beaches in Chincoteague were still closed from hurricane Erin. When we checked in I asked where the pool was located and was told it was closed for renovation. When we saw it, it was obviously never opened this summer and there are clearly no renovations anywhere near the pool area. Very disappointing to say the least. This information should be advertised on the site instead of selling rooms with a pool listed as an amenity if it’s not open for guests.
