Unfortunately, our experience did not match the standard or condition presented in the listing.On arrival, the property showed numerous issues that went beyond normal wear and tear. These included worn and damaged towels, strong cigarette and damp smells throughout, visible dirt and stains on sofas and carpets, food remnants on the floor, and evidence of indoor smoking (including cigarette butts found inside a radiator grill). There was also significant damp and peeling wallpaper near bed headboards, a leaking shower, and a cracked kitchen floor that felt unsafe to walk on without shoes.Several members of our group were uncomfortable staying as a result, and four people had to find alternative arrangements. We raised these concerns with the host during the stay.The photos and description on the listing did not reflect the actual condition of the property, which was particularly disappointing given the reason for our visit and the lack of alternative accommodation available at short notice.While the location may suit some travellers, I would strongly advise future guests to be aware that the property’s current condition may not meet expectations shown online.
