Really enjoyed our stay, excellent facilities, great breakfast. Well located next to a good choice of restaurants and 3 supermarkets. Nice walk along the river into the centre of the city that only takes about 20 minutes

What a marvellous stay in such a wonderful city. Fantastic room, breakfast options, and unparalleled attention. While I had a great stay, I use this review more to commend the wonderful ladies at the front desk/bar area who solidified my appreciation of the Swedish people.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff were so helpful and attentive. Rooms were smaller but the bed was very comfortable and everything in the room was clean. The only downside was the rug in the hallway was absolutely filthy and made the hallway smell so bad. Luckily once inside your room there was no smell at all and no rug. If they remove the hallway rug it would be perfect. I wouldn’t normally write about a rug since I know they get heavy use in high traffic areas but this was absolutely filthy with so many huge stains and the smell made it more noticeable.

The hotel is interesting ans seemingly carved out of an historic industrial building. The main lounge and restaurant is dark with few windows but attractive. The room decor is very Scandinavian and minimal but does the job. In any corporate setting the annoyances are the lack of attention to detail in maintenance. My room had a defective bathroom light and the electronic room thermostat was bizarrely located in the bathroom and had clearly failed as the display was unreadable and it just flashed gently! The lift floor needed a good clean after a sticky spillage that was there for days and the hall carpets are badly stained in places. Overall I would still recommend it, located in a suburban location but convenient for the metro to the centre.

One of the best BEST WESTERNs i have been to. Friendly staff, free private Sauna, excellent breakfast buffett, free breakfast to-go upon very early checkout, free coffe & tea all day, had a room facing the road, was able to open windows wide for fresh air. Good location near public transport and waterfront for a run or strolling.
