Everything was lovely. Very convenient for the Visa museum. Only problem was the shower which was over the bathtub. Getting in and out was DANGEROUS. The shower screen did not stop water from flooding the bathroom floor. This made the floor slippery and dangerous

This is a really nice boutique hotel with incredibly friendly , knowledgeable and helpful staff. At first glance I thought it would be too noisy being above the ABBA museum but is one of the quieter hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner menu featured very good local fare. Try the meatballs and the fish stew.

Best Hotel!
I always stay at Backstage when I visit Stockholm (2x/month). GREAT breakfast, beds are so comfortable, and love the bathtub!!

Backstage
You feel like a guest and at home. Its location allows you to be next to Stockholm but in the suburbs. Local trails and walks are outside the door. A city ferry gets you to the old toen in 20 minutes.

Phenomenal staff. Great breakfast. Only steps from the tram and a ferry. Stockholm is much smaller than I anticipated so it was very easy to walk everywhere or take public transportation.

Won't recommend
Room I got was very disappointed with small dark depressing, I complained and was given a better room no hot food unless you go to nearby cafes no guests lounge no bar no room service, breakfast was a spoonful of cold scrambled eggs, cold burnt rasher if bacon , very disappointed a real let down I had waited a year for .

Highly recommended place to stay. Staff are amazing, thank you Anthony for extending my room for an hour so I could relax before going to the airport. I stayed in the ABBA Gold suite, which was magical. Definitely made this stay a little bit more special.

Quirky, cool, great restaurant.
Really cool hotel next to Abba Museum. Room was huge. Location was out of centre but easy tram ride. Price was great. The meal I had downstairs was amazing albeit pricey. Stockholm not a cheap city but if you look slightly out of the center you can find decent gems like this one!

A well-designed hotel that is surprisingly quiet despite being next to an amusement park and over the ABBA Museum. Great area, nice staff and an easy bike ride to most interesting areas of Stockholm. My only quibble is that it was difficult to find a place to park my bike. Luckily I was able to take it into my room, even though the staff didn’t offer me that option.

Modernt och snyggt med serviceinriktad personal
Bra läge med hållplats Liljevalchs/Gröna Lund precis utanför. Modern, poppig inredning med många färger och spännande detaljer. Ligger i samma byggnad som ABBA-museet och hotellgäster får 10 % rabatt på entrén där, vilket en av receptionisterna var vänlig och informerade oss om. Överlag hjälpsamma receptionister som inte räds att komma upp till rummet om det behövs. Vi fick byta rum till ett lite bättre då det första inte var tillräckligt handikappvänligt i badrummet. Kul att man kunde casta mobilen till tv:n och att det fanns musikhögtalare, även om vi inte lyckades lista ut hur de funkade. Kortläsaren i första rummet (för belysningen) var trasig vilket kändes lite besvärligt, även om lyset ändå kunde fås igång. Personalen sa att de försökt laga det, men att det inte funkat. Verkar vara så i ett par olika rum, men inte i det där vi faktiskt övernattade sen. Sköna sängar och trevliga produkter i badrummet: tvål och bodylotion bl.a. – från Meraki. God frukost med bra utbud. Litet minus dock att ingen meny verkade finnas för den varma maten som var ”à la carte” och behövde beställas. Vi fick veta att det fanns äggröra med något tillbehör, men våfflor nämndes först inte. Det såg vi dock andra gäster få, och frågade om. Då löstes det. Hade gärna sett att man får veta vad man kan välja på när man ändå måste boka in sig på en tid för frukost, för att de ska kunna serva en. Både kafé och restaurang precis intill hotellet, samt närhet till flera andra nöjen.

Trevlig personal, fantastisk frukost, lugnt och skönt. Sköna sängar. Nära till kommunikationer. Möjligen något mörka rum med begränsad belysning men överlag superbra hotell!
