Cosy one bed cottage on secluded private road on the South shore of Loch Katrine

On a private road in a very peaceful part of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park. The location is the perfect place for spotting the local wildlife with badgers and pine martens being regular visitors to the garden, together with numerous wild birds enjoying the bird feeders.

Burn View is the perfect place to relax and unwind, the location being ideal for stargazing with no light pollution.

The property itself is an upside down house overlooking Culigart Burn (waterfall). Well equipped with everything required for a perfect stay away from the demands of everyday life. Within walking distance of a licensed café on the shore of Loch Katrine, where a boat trip can be taken on the famous Sir Walter Scott steam boat. Walking and cycling on the private roads around Loch Katrine is also a very popular pastime, with cycles available to hire nearby.

Just got back from a 3 night stay. Very cosy during the stormy weather. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed and was well stocked with appliances and crockery etc. There was also lots of toiletries. The friendly owners are on site in case you need anything else but they provided everything including all essential kitchen stuff (cloths, oil, salt, pepper, tea towels, cling film etc). There was also ample towels, bedding and throws even though the heating and hot water was lovely and warm at all times. We walked 9 miles from the cottage and back one day and also visited Stirling and the castle another day. On the day we left we had breakfast at the pier cafe which was lovely. This is a great location if you want a peaceful break.
