Quiet with a great view

This is a great place for a couple to get away for the weekend. We were in the area to fish and stayed in another cabin here last year we enjoyed, so we came back. Good value for the privacy and serene setting.

Amazing view

This was our second time staying at calico heights. This time we stayed in the blue cabin. It has a really nice covered patio that faces the lake. We sat out there every evening to watch the sunset. The views are AMAZING!

Great getaway locations

I enjoyed this property! Waking up to the view of the lake was amazing. The house was nice and updated and the ground were very nicely done. The only thing I could say was inconvenient was the internew didn’t work all that well but nothing at fault of the owners and it was simply the location, but they had dish tv so we could enjoy that. Also the heating unit was a little loud but they had a cozy fireplace in the wall that provided some heat as well during the colder stays. Overall awesome getaway location for a couple!

Eufaula Lake View

Was exactly as advertised! We had a wonderful time. Breathtaking is an accurate description. Wonderful sunsets…..as well as dark skies!!There is also a nice easy walking trail. Bed was super comfortable. Whirlpool bath was nice. The tap water was very good…that was a complaint i read in a previous review. WiFi also worked great! We have no complaints! Highly recommended!!!

Weekend Get Away

Cabin was as advertised. Kitchen came fully equipped with a stove top, microwave, no oven, grill on deck, utensils, pots, pans, plates and glasses. Bathroom had everything you needed as well towels, ropes which we absolutely loved, shampoo and bodywash. The view was amazing from all angles. Definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. We would rent this cabin again. Perfect for a Couples Retreat.

We enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful. There were some bugs, dirty dishes, and a partially broken fridge (ice maker/water dispenser) upon arriving, but we hope to return in the future! Oh, the shower water pressure was amazing!

Very very clean. Gorgeous inside and out. Quiet spot even with several other cabins around. Amazing view of the lake from balcony. Bed was very comfortable which is a huge plus for us and our backs. Need to relax in style? This is your spot!!

No wonder this place gets 5 stars! Obviously an amazing view but everything else was great! The entire property is very quiet and feels private and the house was clean and set up to relax but we easily spent most of our time outside for the views! Will definitely be back!

Great place to get away from it all

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. It was just as it appears in the photos. Very quiet and beautiful view off the covered porch of the lake. The lake is huge and has a lot to offer. Relaxing weekend away

The best getaway spot! Beautiful scenery, relaxing porch views, the cabin is cozy, and it’s in a really good location! The cabin was stocked well, we checked out the guest supply cabin and they had yard games, extra appliances, dvds, etc. we didn’t use any but we could see it coming in handy if needed!! Overall, a very great stay and we plan on coming back again! Thank you!!!

Loved the adorable space, perfect for my two people who want to be cozy. Amazing views! Lots of nats in the bathroom in the morning, like an extreme amount. Lots died covered tub, shower, & sink. There were even more Sunday morning. Could not have stayed another day with all the nats.

Great Lake visit

Just had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The views were beautiful from the big deck, and it was very private. Could watch the sunrise to the left and the sunset to the right. The stars at night we’re glorious! The place is very up-to-date and clean, and every attention to detail has been attended to. the communication with Deb was wonderful. They also have a boat that you can rent and while originally reserving the boat for Saturday the weather was not great and they were very easy to work with to schedule for the following day. We definitely stay there again!

Beware

We loved the property at first. Very cute place, great view, jacuzzi tub and clean. Very small but the right size for 2 people. As soon as we went to bed, however, our opinion changed. The bed is very hard. We are over 65 but have traveled a LOT, and this is the worst bed we have ever "slept" in. My wife's hips hurt so bad from the bed she tried to sleep on the couch (that is more like loveseat) but it was to late. We both had a miserable night. My wife decided to take a hot bath in the jacuzzi to help the pain but could only get the water warm because there is not enough hot water to fill it for one bath. We had it booked for 2 nights but could not do that kind of night again. We weren't mad or anything, just figured it was us or our age. We messaged to let the owner know and requested a refund for the second night.She got back to us and offered another cabin but we told her we were afraid to have another night like that. She never replied about a refund. We let her know when we left and she did not respond. Later in the day we asked about a refund and she replied she was busy that day and would get back to us. Two days later we contacted her again and she responded hatefully. She said I threatened her with a bad review and no way she would give a refund. She said customers would be able to see our correspondence but went back and changed her messages to us after my message that she was unprofessional. Beware renters, this is not a kind person or one with integrity
