"It was the perfect place to stay as it was near Grove and all our family were meeting there .. There was a friendly service that was just right as we were visiting at a sad time ,a funeral … The bar and restaurant, so good , and the food delicious.. I would recommend to friends as the atmosphere was what you would hope for in an English `old style’ hotel . "

"Unfortunately not the place you like to stay for this price. The people are very friendly and open. There is a small restaurant and food is good. But the room was not clean. No light in the bathroom. Only to recommend when you want a secret meeting there, because the rooms are outside and direct from car part to access. And no breakfast or someone to leave the room keys."

"We stayed in a family room with our daughter which was very spacious with a double and 2 single beds. Lovely historic building with a very nice bar area. The property is very dog friendly. We had dinner in the bar area so our dog could sit with us and she was allowed in the breakfast area. The food was very good with generous portions and breakfast was excellent."
