"Very nice hotel in situated in a small village. Very quiet and nice. I can’t say anything about the surroundings as I came late in the afternoon and left early next morning (business trip) I had dinner in the restaurant and had a very nice dinner. I recommend this hotel and I would come again "

Rang and got through to an English speaking person who cycled down to us to show us in and let us park the motorcycle in the locked garage. "Hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. There is limited parking places, but the parking in front of the hotel is free. Breakfast was included and was delicious. They had a nice variety of things to choose from (bread, croissant, yogurt, crackers, fruit, etc). Our room was neat, clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. "Gut zu erreichen. Einzelzimmer sauber,jedoch fand ich es eine Zumutung das einzige Fenster war baulich auf die Hausmauer ausgerichtet, da heißt es war dunkel u.der Blick war auf das Mauerwerk gerichtert. Dusche lief schlecht ab, im Zi.5 brauchte die Deckenbeleuchtung im Bad einen Lampenschirm u. nicht nur die nakte Glühbirne. Das Frühstück lieblos angerichtet, keine Abwechslung. Sehr spartanisch. Dann müßte der Frühstückspreis etwas erhöht werden, wenn man ein ansprechendes Büffet bieten...

Hazardous, outdated and dirty.

"Took up to an hour for the owner to arrive to give us the key into the home. I called the provided number twice to be hung up on (as I only speak English). The owner was able to bring a younger adult to translate. The home is mostly advertised for its hot tub and sauna. My grandmother had planned to use the king-sized bed downstairs; however, I realized she would hurt herself if she need to use the bathroom at night. The drop-down stairs to the second floor bedroom were in the way of her door. If you were to stay upstairs (only twin beds available), you would have to leave the stairs lowered as there was no way to reel the stairs back up once up there to sleep. There were little to no blankets. Available duvets and pillow cases smelt of body odor, and were extremely outdated. We traveled far and couldn’t bring our own blankets, unfortunately. If we had stayed, my 81 year old grandmother would have froze at night."

"My stay at the Arkadenhaus hotel was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the hotel manager. Despite my limited understanding of German, the manager went above and beyond to help me find the places I wanted to visit. Their patience and dedication made my trip much smoother and more enjoyable. The hotel itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but it was the manager's extra effort that really stood out. I highly recommend the Arkadenhaus for anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive stay."
