Great location with a simple walk to the trail that brings you right to the gondola. It’s a very cozy condo with everything you need for a spectacular time at Steamboat. I’d recommend it to any 2 adults (king bed) and 2 teen or younger kids on the pullout sofa. High marks for the short walk to the T Bar which is a must stop for apres ski!
Perfect little getaway. Property is listed for up to 4, which would be a little tight in my opinion, but not unusual for a ski vacation. A little expensive for just a couple, but has everything you need, and we had a great time!

December 2016 Stay
Had a great time. We really appreciated being able to ski in & walk out. Our condo was a good size & enjoyed the fireplace but it just had a funny smell.
I usually stay at the Sheraton, Steamboat grand, or sometimes Nordic lodge downtown. This was a great experience with great amenities especially when it came down to what the room had to offer with cooking supplies. 10 second walk to the hot tub and 30 second walk to launch down and ski in to the resort/gondola area. Great stay all in all. Will consider again for my yearly trip.
Excellent location for families wanting to check out Steamboat
We were a family of 4 visiting Steamboat Springs for the first time. This room worked out very well. The ability to ski directly back to the property was so very helpful with tired out children. Having a kitchen made meals easier for us. The accordion divider that could be used to separate the room into 2 spaces helped with getting the kids to bed. We enjoyed the pleasant view of the Wild Blue Gondola and Christie Express Lift.
I wish we had worked out ahead of time that if you try night skiing, there IS a way (semi-off trail) to ski back to the property. We didn't realize this, and it was a very difficult walk back with kids and gear. Look for your route before it gets dark.
The staff at the property was extremely friendly and helpful! The only complaint I had with our stay was that the property management company was not particularly accommodating. I had phoned in advance to request a slightly earlier check in (2:30 or 3:00 instead of 4:00). The property management company said they would do their best. In the end, our room was not made available until 3:57. Other places I have stayed in the past have done a better job of being flexible with check -in.
Overall, though, I would stay here again simply for the location.
The condo was clean and had everything we needed... kitchen with all of the basics, bathroom with towels and soap, large bed, sleeper sofa, table and chairs, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and watching activities on the mountain. The location is close to a fun river with a beach area where our small boys played for hours. We also spent time in the hot tub. Thanks!

August 2017 Stay
Very helpful staff; Jennifer was wonderful in checking me in. Nice accommodations with updated kitchen. Decent sized studio, comfortable bed and pillow.
A few things that disappointed me: the 2nd floor is nearly level with the picnic benches and grill. Both nights I had my sliding door open and felt like I was sitting in someone's picnic with loud kids and adults. Not what I was expecting from a nice quiet week in the mountains. Also, the view was of the condo across the way, not the slopes. Recommend getting something on the 3rd or higher. Lastly, No AC: with near 90 degree days, AC would have been nice, particularly since it was loud keeping the door and window open.

Mixed: the good / bad / ugly
The good:
- our flight from Denver was cancelled and we took a 5hr shuttle ride in a snow storm; mountain resorts helped us check in when we finally arrived at 2am
- the unit was warm; inviting after a long trek - had all the amenities we expected: real bed, hot water, fireplace, good kitchen & bathroom + humidifier (for CO's dry winters)
- mountain resorts provided us with a shuttle from the main office to the condo, although it took several calls to set it up (make sure you do this in advance)
- ski path provides access FROM the outer-most green slope on the mountain; which was great
- ski racks on ground floor for each unit
- unit is welcoming; pictures of the happy family and iconic Steamboat scenes are everywhere
The bad:
- no regular shuttle service: we hiked to SkiTimeSquare every day to catch the free city bus into town, which got old after a while. If you have a car, you might have a different experience -- but we walked 10 minutes each way, every trip
- the stairs to the ski path behind the building were covered with solid ice: hazardous! Most people in the condo had to crawl up & down or cantilever their body over the side railing and roll onto the path. On our last day, someone from the building cleared it out with a shovel -- too late for us
- the ski path provides one-way access down from the slope: you need to hike ~100yds along the ski path or ~200yds across the road: makes quick in/out trips more difficult
- the night lights are on all night + no black-out blinds made the bedroom feel like there was a light on inside the unit. We wound up hanging a blanket over the window and closing the room divider at night to get better sleep, which seemed to do the trick
- the unit is a little dated, relative to some of the other condos in the building. Some upgrades like the Chandelier are wired externally on the wall, which is fine for Mcguiver but it takes away from a polished look of the place
- the unit could use some repairs: the lock to the patio door is broken, (it slides freely and lets in cold air); the comforter had a big rip on the underside; then there's little stuff like really coarse TP (think 600-grit sandpaper) (we went to Target and bought some Charmin) -- we expected better from units in this price range
The ugly:
- the folks in the unit above us really need to lubricate the joints on their bed
