This 36-acre hillside location provides plenty of privacy and ample elbow room, plus spectacular views of the Steamboat Ski Area and Yampa Valley - yet is only minutes from all the action. The Ranch is renowned for its friendly, complimentary private shuttle service (winter only), which transports you to the ski area or downtown Steamboat Springs at your convenience.
Onsite amenities include a fitness center, outdoor heated pool, three outdoor hot tubs, men's and ladies' saunas, and four outdoor tennis courts. Please note that the pool and hot tubs are open during winter and summer months only. Arrangements can be made to use the onsite conference room, as well as the catering service that utilizes the onsite professional-grade kitchen.
This property is professionally managed by Mountain Resorts, Steamboat Vacation Expert and the largest locally owned property management company in Steamboat Springs. Our professional front desk staff is available to our guests every day, and check-in is available 24-hours a day in our conveniently located welcome center on Mt. Werner road. We have housekeeping services and a maintenance department should you need assistance with anything at your rental property. Last minute spring ski trip. The place was perfect for our family of 4. Views of the mountain are great. The free shuttle was SO convenient. The neighbors were quiet. Would stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay at The Ranch. We've been coming to The Ranch for 20 years and always have a wonderful time. The unit itself was pretty typical of many Ranch units, and could use some updating from the original finishes (specifically the kitchen floor). The two recliners also need to be replaced, and sort out the cookware and cups and plates to create a cohesive matching set. A premium-level coffee maker would be a nice upgrade, too. We love the 2-floor layout, and views from the deck were amazing, and the private garage entrance was a surprise benefit.
The Ranch staff were all very helpful and professional. However there was a broken gutter directly above our garage that created an ice hazard directly behind the door. This needs to be maintained with ice-melt constantly until the gutter is fixed.
