About this property

Yampa View Condo

  • Location, location, location! Conveniently located on the mountainside of Steamboat!
    This 988 sq ft condo is a lower unit. I have 2 evaporative coolers along with fans in each room.
    The open concept kitchen has stainless steel appliances and all the cookware you need to make a feast after an afternoon of outdoor fun! The contemporary dining room table seats 6 people.
    Right off of the dining room is a furnished balcony. The balcony overlooks the Yampa Valley and Flattop Wilderness. The balcony is a great area to relax and enjoy sunsets and sunrises with your morning cup of coffee!
    The living room consists of a leather sofa, leather chair, leather trundle bed ( sleeps 2 people), and a gas fireplace to warm you from head to toe in the colder months!
    Bedroom 1 has a queen bed.
    Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with a private bathroom attached. Both mattresses are on the firmer side.
    The second bathroom is a tub/shower with extra shelf space for your personal bathroom travel essentials.
    Heated ski closet outside the front door.
    The balcony overlooks the Yampa Valley and Flattop Wilderness area.
    During the winter ski season, steps from the condo door is a free shuttle that will take you to the base of the mountain.
    There is also a free city bus operating year-round that goes to the ski mountain, grocery stores and downtown.
    The bus is located at the corner of Longthong road and Apres Ski way. It is a 5 minute walk from the condo.
    The condo allows 1 car in the parking lot that can be registered for free online.
    This is a condo complex and noise will most likely be heard. Unfortunately my family and I have severe allergies to pet hair and smoke. Please consider this as a health and safety concern.

The condo was a wonderful property for our party of 5, the trundle bed was very appreciated for older siblings and the location was great. Katherine was helpful and considerate in communication, and even went the extra mile to help us retrieve a lost special blanket for my son when we realized he’d left it behind the day we departed. Can’t say enough kind things about her and would happily stay here again.

Nice view, short walk

We were happy with the gorgeous view of the snow covered hills surrounding Yampa valley, the short walk to the slopes, the tidy kitchen and the comfy beds!

Great place to stay!!

This condo was perfect for our stay in Steamboat. The shuttle to and from the ski resort was easy to use and the views were beautiful over the valley. The unit has everything you need and Katherine is super communitive and accessible for questions.

Perfect location for skiing!

Katherine’s condo is well appointed and has all we needed for a great ski vacation. She answered questions and communicated all details in a timely manner. The shuttle was extremely convenient and available for getting to the slopes, and the view of the valley from the condo was beautiful!

Katherine has provided everything you could need with her property. So comfortable and felt like home. The ski area is minutes away by the vans to the door. Amazing, and we will be back for sure. Loved it.

Charming condo unit

Condo was well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. Only a few minutes from Old Town as well as Gondola and ski lifts. VRBO owner Katherine was easily reached if we had any questions. Very pleasant mini break.
