As a guest a Bear Lodge, you also have the benefit of a complimentary private winter shuttle service and access to all the amenities you would ever want, to ensure a simply great vacation!

Located just 2 blocks from the Gondola, Bear Lodge is the 6th and final phase at Trappeurs Crossing Resort. Awarded the coveted Expedia Insiders Select Choice Award, Bear Lodge offers arguably the best accommodations available anywhere in Steamboat. Professionally decorated in a cozy and stylish mountain scheme you'll find a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with granite breakfast bar, quality stainless steel appliances, a 4-burner gas cook-top stove and luxurious wood cabinetry. As part of the Trappeur's Crossing Resort, this lodge has use of all of the Trappeur's facilities including Amenity Center with computers and internet access, fitness center, 4 pools, 10 hot tubs and a sauna.

If you don't want to walk the two blocks to the Gondola, the winter only shuttle service will whisk you from the front door to Gondola Square. The shuttle will also take you Downtown, to the grocery stores or anywhere within Steamboat City limits.

Awesome property!

We've traveled all over Colorado Skiing with our 5 children (ages 13-23). We entered this property and found it to be so welcoming. The property was very clean and has all the amenities that you may need. The layout of the property has been one of our favorites...enough space for all, but still feel inclusive. The shuttle service was perfect to the slopes. Easy on and off. Short minutes trip to gondola. We debated whether to take the shuttle service from the airport or rent a vehicle. We opted to rent a vehicle, and glad that we did. This gave us the freedom to make several trips to the grocery store, to rent skis, to check out Steamboat, etc. So if you're looking for the freedom to come and go as you please, rent a vehicle. All in all, this property is in our top 2-3 of Colorado VRBOs.
