The Alpenglow Haus has 3000 square feet of beauty, comfort, and spacious living!

The Alpenglow Haus has a large kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches that make it unique and welcoming.

There are loads of games as well as books, toys, and sleds for kids to enjoy.

Spacious Kitchen with: Two Refrigerators, Double Ovens, Pantry Space
Small appliances including crockpot, mixer, blender, rice cooker, food processor, waffle maker, foil, plastic wrap, enough silverware, dishes, and glasses for large groups.

This home also has a convenient location in Steamboat's mountain village. It's a quiet residential area up off the valley floor, so you'll have nice views of mountains and the valley, but it's also very convenient to the ski slopes, restaurants, shops, and Steamboat's free bus system. **Please note - the Alpenglow Haus is technically a duplex home, with an attached apartment that is long term rented to a local resident. You have your own entrance and driveway.

Accessibility:
Parking is on the same level as the entrance. One flights of stairs inside unit.

6 minute walk to Free Bus stop takes you right to the slopes!

Great family ski vacation house....

We had a great time in a super location for our family’s ski vacation. The house was beautiful and there was lots of room. Kirsten was very responsive and super helpful. Overall a great place to stay.

Perfect for Family Reunion

This house was perfect for our family trip. The kitchen was so big and had everything we needed. We loved the big deck and yard for the kids. The rooms were all big and we never felt cramped. Would definitely stay again. The host was attentive and had great recommendations for things to do.

This beautiful mountain home is just as described . My extended family stayed here and we were so comfortable. So much space to relax and play! They had everything we needed to make family meals in the huge kitchen. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We definitely want to book another family trip to stay here next year!

Best place for a family trip

This property was just the best place for a family to stay. Plenty of room for everyone of all ages. Super kid-friendly property with so many extras... guard rail for beds, booster chairs, toys & games! The kitchen was filled with just about every appliance and serving piece one could ask for. The hosts were most accommodating and responsive.

Perfect in every way

This house was the perfect fit for our family of 6. Comfortable in every way and from the mountainside a beautiful view of the Yampa Valley and awesome sunsets. Highly recommend. Hot tub and gas grill were also a hit and the huge deck a great gathering point.

A great family vacation

This was the 4th vrbo we have stayed at in western Colorado in the last 5 years and by far, was the most comfortable of all of our stays. Perfect layout for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. Every chair, bed and pillow, made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the kitchen and dining room, as it was very spacious for our group, and where we spent most of our evenings. We highly recommend and look forward to a return visit. The Harris family

Great spot for a large group

We visited with 2 families of 4 and 2 families of 2 for 4 nights over spring break. The house is huge with great amounts of space and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is renovated with a nice huge island, and the dining room has plenty of spots to sit and eat. Just a few minutes to drive to the gondola skier drop-off. There was a lot of space off the back of the house where our kids loved sledding. We would definitely stay again.

Spacious yard, awesome kitchen, huge master!

Such a beautiful property with amazing views all around! So nice grilling on the huge deck while the kids played in the backyard. Such a huge cozy home we had tons of space. And each person had their own area too (which is so hard in rental homes). The kitchen was such a spacious area to gather and hang out. We were able to catch the shuttle and have fun in town. We used the community walking trail to go to nearby parks and creeks. Loved being so close to the base area for all the festivals and concerts. Our kids had a great time playing at the beach on the base.

Roomy older house with some nice updates

Overall the property was good, my personal opinion is that it is priced a little on the high side for what you get, but it was clean and had ample space for our group. The master bed only had 1 sheet because fitted won’t work because of added egg crate on top of mattress, The other beds were perfect. There was only 1/2 roll of the cheapest paper towels you can buy and not much toilet paper and there was no hand soap at most of the sinks. So we bought hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Overall we had a great time and trip! Can’t wait to come back to the Boat!

Amazing location. Awesome owners

The owners of the place are super laid back and respect their Tennant's privacy. This place is great for multiple families and small groups of adults. The fireplace is amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked w cookware and absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect in so many ways

We had a wonderful stay at Alpenhaus. From watching the sunset from the hot tub apres ski to the clean and comfortable accommodations; the responsive hosts to the excellent snow that they somehow ordered up for us, it was all wonderful. ‘Once a season’ winter storms dumped inches of powder almost every day, and they kept a nice path to the hot tub and our cars open every day. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!
