"The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. "

"2 night stay with my partner. The grounds in which the lodges are on are beautiful and secluded and really gives you the feeling of detachment from the working and home life for your stay. Lodges very clean and more amenities than first thought, can easily get by with no problem at all or need for anything. Nice seating area out front with fire pit & hanging BBQ if required. Even a bar area for you to meet other guests or book a couple of lodges and have a few of you there enjoying that...

"Beautiful property but the whole building is uneven, floors have big dips in them, the stairs are on a slant and so is the landing so quite dangerous for anyone with balance problems. No washing machine either!"
