"If you are looking for a quiet and out of the way place to stay then this is definitely it! Part of the old farm house I guess, the cottage is very well appointed even to an air fryer. There is also a lovely garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, hopefully longer next time, we will return….."

"We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the cottage over New Year. It is small and cosy and set in a small village overlooking fields and hills. The sunrise in the morning is beautiful. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook meals and there is a large Sainsbury's about 10 minutes drive away to stock up on provisions. "The views were incredible, the trout ponds were fascinating, we took a fishing lesson on our first day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cafe is super convenient and all the staff were friendly and approachable! Our only hang up was that the mattresses were a little uncomfortable and the accommodation wasn't kitted out very well for cooking dinner so we ate out and got a couple of easy ready meals instead (pans were very small and there were no cutting knives to prep meals with) - otherwise, 5*!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."
