    The space

Moonrise Meadow is your own peaceful escape, thoughtfully designed for total comfort. The open-concept layout brings together a cozy living room, full kitchen, and bedroom, plus XL twin bunk beds tucked behind private curtains with their own reading lights, climb the ladder up to the top bunk for a little extra adventure. It's the perfect setup for kids, guests, or anyone who wants a cozy nook to call their own.

Step outside and follow the secret trail to a dedicated hammock area near the Red River, where the serene sounds of nature and a peaceful beach turn any afternoon into a memory.

Back inside, the kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and bar seating for casual mornings with coffee. Curl up on the couch by the electric fireplace, where a soft glow sets the mood while you stream your favorite show on the smart TV.

The bedroom is a retreat all its own, featuring a beautiful queen-sized bed, a private fireplace, and a second smart TV for movie nights tucked under the covers. Open the back door to your private deck and take in expansive mountain views, sink into your private hot tub under the stars, or relax by your private fire pit for storytelling and s'mores.

Moonrise Meadow is one of 8 uniquely decorated modern cabins that make up Three Suns Cabins — and can be rented together as a group for larger parties or special occasions. It's a truly one-of-a-kind setting, with sweeping views, scenic trails, and 1,100 feet of Red River frontage leading to a large sandy beach perfect for relaxing, fishing, and kayaking. Other things to note

For your convenience, each cabin includes both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. To ensure freshness and accommodate individual preferences, we do not provide perishable or consumable items such as coffee, K-Cups, salt, pepper, cooking oil, or similar goods.

The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with the essentials needed to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay, including pots, pans, bowls, cups, utensils, and more.

To help you settle in comfortably, we provide a starter supply of essentials, including hand soap, paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, 2 trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and basic cleaning supplies. A bar of soap and travel-size shampoo are also provided. Guests planning longer stays may wish to bring additional supplies.

Each cabin includes a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Guests are asked to bring their own charcoal and lighter fluid. Please note that while we do our best to provide lighters or matches for the grill and fire pit, availability is not guaranteed.

Firewood is available for purchase onsite. While we do our best to keep firewood stocked, availability cannot be guaranteed.

The cabin is supplied with city water that is safe for drinking and all household uses.

Cell service can be limited depending on your carrier.

Easy access, paved and well-maintained gravel roads lead right to the property — no four-wheel drive needed. Please note that Red River Gorge is a rugged, cliffy wilderness, and roads can be steep, winding, and narrow, so drive with caution.

Cabin was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We did have a problem with the microwave in the cabin we stayed in but they let us move to another cabin. We are thinking about coming back to the same place to stay again later in the future. Winter isn't the best time to stay in this area only because many stores and restaurants are closed for the season because their tourist attractions are mostly spring and summer time friendly activities. Still had a good time even with so many things closed.

Moonrise Meadow is in a great location for visiting the Red River Gorge area. It sits between Stanton and Slade. The cabin is nestled in the valley with multiple other rentals around, but with enough space between them for privacy. The road getting back to Moonrise Meadow is an adventure in itself. The road is paved, but narrow and hilly. We advise arriving before dark. The house is very well designed with modern decor, yet is very cozy. The queen bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. The hot tub on the back deck is perfect for stargazing! Mandy is an excellent host and communicates very well. She is quick to respond with any questions or concerns. We highly recommend Moonrise Meadow and Three Suns Cabins.

Beautiful setting with vast mountain views and nicely appointed accommodations. The cabin had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The gorgeous meadow flowers surrounding each cabin provides privacy between cabins while giving a lovely scene. Enjoyed meandering through the wildflower paths to sit along the Red River in the beach chairs provided.

Great communication. Very easy check in and check out process. Amazing location, with lots to do between hiking, fishing, hanging out by the outdoor fire, or relaxing in the hot tub. My daughters loved the in wall bunk beds, but there was a lot of flies, easily managed with a couple fly swatters. Could use some more cooking supplies and toilet paper, but they had all the basics. Great place, would definitely stay again.

Beautiful modern cabin in a valley with foggy mountains all around. There is a trail mowed through tall grasses and goldenrods that leads to a wooded section with hammocks and down to a beach next to the river. The cabin was very clean with all the typical amenities. Hot tub was crystal clear and we enjoyed being able to go straight out of our room to the hot tub after kids went to sleep. The kids enjoyed the bunkbeds. Our 6 year old really liked the ladder and hole to crawl through. The 3 year old did fall out of the bottom bunk once trying to go to the bathroom because it is pretty tall. We pulled the ottoman over as a step which worked well. The owner was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to messages. We had no issues during our stay. A flyer was sent that had a lot of local places to eat and things to do. Down the road is a place to get firewood, coffee, and donuts. There are several places to eat within 15-20 minutes. We enjoyed Toads bar and grill. Miguel's for pizza is a local staple and highly recommended.
