"Pros: We like the room layout with a separate sitting area that has a day bed. It was a comfortable room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Cons: bathroom door squeaked loudly- so we left it wide open to avoid waking everyone when using the bathroom at night. The shower floor was quite slippery, we were scared of slipping/falling...we had to be very cautious getting in and out of the shower. Shower edges did not look very clean otherwise everything else was clean. We would book it again. It is convenient location."

"Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues."

"The property is managed by a company that is pretty responsive but definitely a more transactional feel. Only real issue we had was shipping in things for a wedding we were helping with and packages being misplaced. I wasn't a fan of how the property management made excuses instead of apologizing and offering a solution. In the end the package was found right as the wedding was starting and we pulled it off.House is great, doors open on their own there so definitely advise locking when you're done. Beds were comfy, rooms were insulated well from noise which was a huge plus with our large group. Hot tub and pool table were fan favorites of the kids too.Definitely would recommend for larger groups and if you have dogs as the yard is fenced in."

"We stayed for a few days and a family of five it accommodated all of us with beds and space. It was a wonderful stay,the staff was helpful to let us know places and things to do as well as getting extra towels or anything. The area is beautiful too! Definitely a must stay spot if you need a place to stay in the area! Oh and the fact it’s 5 mins from the Calaveras redwoods was awesome!"
