"A great spot for a two family adventure. The basketball game on the deck was a hit - and the 2 kid size bunks made for fun sleepovers for the 4 kids. Double beds in the upstairs bedrooms made for cuddly sleeps for adults but the king with ensuite downstairs was a spacious treat. Kitchen and mudroom is fab with a clothes line just outside the door. Beach chairs/umbrella/towels good quality. Screened in deck is nearly soundproof from the indoor living space so that’s a plus. An easy walk to Ross lane beach is always a positive for us. We had a great stay."

"Extremely comfortable and peaceful stay at Stanhope Chalets. We booked for 4 nights in August 2026, and were very glad we ended up choosing this location. The young kids enjoyed the playground in the evenings and mornings. The laundry and amenities were perfect. Clean, cozy, easy. Excellent location for beaches and close to our tourist activities in the west. Others mention hearing the road, and we were staying in the chalet closest the road. You can hear the traffic, but slept super well every night. Thank you!"

"Beautiful open-concept house, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach which was lovely, it was easy to contact host for any questions, it was a beautiful location and house! House was spacious, clean and well maintained, there were many areas to sit, eat or socialize We appreciated being able to walk to the beach! The beach was gorgeous."

"Was a lovely stay. The island itself was great. The beds were uncomfortable and some were even broken so you sunk in the middle. There were 4 ladies staying so the toilet paper they gave us was like rationing us (we had to ask a couple times and was given 2 small rolls) so we bought our own. Other than that, it was a good stay."

"The location was perfect to explore Old Montreal on foot! It’s a little tricky finding temporary parking to unload the vehicle, but we didn’t have to go too far beyond the property for this. The door was a little sticky, so patience and strength was required to access the room a few times. David was very responsive to any inquiries we had! We would definitely stay again!"
