Our stay was peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Great to have access to go to skyline drive or head into town for a little antique shopping and a bite to eat.
Very nice place. Rustic, but with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Had a great time by the fire outside and also using the wood stove inaide. Stream nearby is beautiful
Comfortable bed, beautiful location, great tub, great view from every window. Near the park, near some great hikes, great location close to everything. Couldnt ask for anything more.
Perfect stay for one night in a cabin overlooking a fast moving stream. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had what we needed. Only one small nit: the lights in the living room were so dim, it was hard to read or see. Other than that, we recommend this house for a rural getaway!
We stopped here as a halfway point after dropping daughter off at college. The cabin and location are perfect for resting and enjoying nature. Only regret was the shortness of our stay. Beautiful cabin and wonderful surroundings.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We love remote locations so this cabin a home run for sure! We were close to the NP which made easy access for hiking. We almost preferred not to leave the cabin to go hiking because the quiet solitude location with active stream bubbling was a treasure for sure!
If you like to get away from people, and-still be close to the park this is a perfect location. We didn’t want to leave after spending 3 nights here.’
This was a beautiful place in a secluded nature spot by the river "run". We enjoyed the sounds of the song birds and water rushing by as we sat on the comfort of the covered deck watching the butterflies and birds. It was a great "unplug" time to relax in a beautiful location. The photos represent the space very well.
A beautiful location way off the beaten path. Close to skyline drive. Very clean , property was as listed..no hidden surprises. The reading nook was perfect and you can’t beat a babbling brook right off your porch. Didn't love the added fees, but maybe all the properties have them.
Our favorite part was the creek; very relaxing. The location was close enough to several towns and activities, but in a peaceful setting.
On the cleanliness, overall the cabin was clean, except for the oven and toaster. Even though we didn’t use either they were dirty; especially the oven. It smelled like old grease and we noticed it as soon as we entered the kitchen.
But we had a very enjoyable time and hope to stay at the cabin again.
Wonderful little log cabin on a creek that sings to you all day and night long. Deer - including a baby fawn - came by our porch, where we spent every happy hour outside. Built a couple nice fires in the fire pit outside and so enjoyed the peace and quiet. Kitchen is fine. Great location and close to the entry to the Shenandoah National Park, where we did lots of hiking. Not appropriate if you have any mobility issues and the stairs in the middle of the night are a little tricky, but we really spent most of our time out on the decks, which are terrific.

Enjoyed the secluded location and the sound of the stream next to the cabin. The cabin was very accommodating and clean. The host was very responsive to all our questions.
Had a wonderful stay and the property was so great we barely left it! Beautiful views from the deck of the river and the bedroom was a comfy loft! The hosts were very responsive and the house was clean. Would definitely stay again!
The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. A gurgling stream provided a soothing song of nature as we relaxed on the porch. This cabin is tucked into the woods for complete privacy.
