Honestly I didn't think I would like the bed as it was pretty hard but I slept great! Thin walls maybe. Our neighbors were pretty loud next to us at the head of our beds we could hear way more then we wanted to, lol the first night and the second night above us sounded like they had children just jumping and running around well past midnight.

It's a strange little hotel, with a 70s-ish building looming over a small neighborhood of single-family homes. Lobby is pretty dated, but the rooms have been kept upgraded; are very clean; and the staff are very nice. Ample parking. Noise is from nearby railroad/I-95, hallways are pretty quiet. Increasing number of dining options in a semi-gritty neighborhood. Have stayed several times and will be back.

I checked in late due to travel issues and the clerk was asleep in the chair behind the desk (1:15 am). The hotel was in a terrible part of town, super outdated and had musty old smell to it. Everything about the room was low rate and cheap - pillows, blankets, coffee supplies, etc. Maybe the worst hotel I've ever stayed in before.

For a hotel with low ratings, we were pretty impressed with it. The staff was amazing, the room was huge and comfortable. There was a fridge, coffee pot , working air conditioner, comfortable bed , and a continental breakfast. Parking was in a safe area right around the corner from our room. I pre-booked our room and when we arrived, told the manager I needed ground floor room instead of climbing stairs or elevator and he very gladly upgraded us to a first floor room with a king size bed at no extra charge. Restaurants are right next door within walking distance and the Steve Wilkos show is right around the corner, which was our reason for being there. Nothing was difficult about the stay and I have no complaints at all.

Rooms were comfortable and reasonably priced. The continental breakfast could be improved to add some hot breakfast items. The fitness room was substandard with equipment that did not work; no towels; no cleaning equipment; no water available.
