"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"Our room was great. My daughter, Suzanne Funk’s room had a problem with the mattress on one of the double beds. She sat down and the entire mattress flipped up. Her husband found a piece that has come loose from the frame and tightened it. All was good. Clean rooms. Nice towels. "

"Although it’s a nearly brand new hotel and has a wonderful location overlooking Radford University, it has no pool or hot tub, probably due to its location and lack of additional land. Overall I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5. The restaurant on the sixth floor serves a great breakfast that’s filling and flavorful. "

Amazing stay for my family

"Traveling with 3 kids and a dog is always a blast (insert sarcasm) but when you need to find a hotel along the way, it can be stressful. We found this while traveling, was able to book it just before arriving and paid the same as we would have at a "cheaper" hotel. This place was very very nice. We had a suite with 2 queens, there was so much room. Our dog was accomidated and even given treats when we arrived. They had plenty of green area to walk your dog, and even had an outdoor hangout with a grill! Everything seemed very clean and well taken care of and Noah at the front desk was extremley polite and helpful. First hotel I have stayed where I couldn't really find a complaint to make. The price was fantastic and even included a hot breakfast that was served until 10:30... 10:30!!! Amazing. I will be looking to stay again next time i travel."

"First time staying at a H2S with my 3 children and it definitely won’t be my last. The setup and amenities were just what we needed to properly function on our 5 day trip and it truly felt like a home away from home. The property was clean and conveniently located for shops and restaurants if needed. The town itself is lovely and has all of the conveniences needed and then some. Definitely a great stay! "
