One night stay

The property is amazing; Zach had the manager meet us at the house for check in and a tour. He gave us suggestions for places to go/eat. He had a driver pick us up from airport and then we had the same driver take us to a local beach. We walked to the ferry in the morning to ferry over to BVI. Beautiful, beautiful property!

Zack met us at check in. The building is beautiful and meticulously updated while keeping the old 1810 charm. We wished we could stay longer as we genuinely enjoyed our stay. Zack made a lovely recommendation at a local and walkable Spanish restaurant that was splendid. We hope to visit this locale in the future.

Fantastic experience

Everything about our stay was great. We arrived early but Zach opened the cafe below so we could relax and get some drinks while we waited to check in. The space itself is amazing, the wall of books, cool artwork, and double waterfall shower were some highlights. Zach did everything to make our family of 5 comfortable (and the gallery next door was especially cool) I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Simply Fantastic!

First off, if you are reading this review, stop now and book this place. This is by far the best rental property I have ever stayed at….and I have used STR’s across all platforms in several countries. The loft is fully equipped and has so many extra touches that go above and beyond. The decor is stunning!! My group thanked me several times for booking this place. Zack provides an exceptional level of concierge service from booking to checkout that goes above and beyond. We will use 81C whenever we visit ST Thomas. I would give this unique place 10 Stars if I could. HIGHLY recommend!!

A St. Thomas Gem

We only spent one night at Zack's home and it was the perfect place to be. The property has a lot of personality, warmth, and soul. If you read up on it and the work that Zack does, you will understand what I mean. What you can't gather from the photo is the location and the fact that Zack is the most responsive and helpful VRBO owner we've ever interacted with. He helped me coordinate transportation and gave some really good advice and recommendations. His property is clean, spacious, and is truly located within walking distance of anything you need. There is a bakery across the street which was perfect for breakfast. The house was close to a grocery store for snacks and supplies and within two blocks of a very good restaurant.This is not a negative remark, only something to note in case you have mobility issues. Upon entering the property you have to go up the stairs. There isn't much of a landing (foyer) except the space that leads to the shower. And what a great shower it is! The second bedroom is located in an enclosed loft and the steps to it are a little different. If you view the photos you will see that the steps do not run all the way across. It was more difficult for me to navigate as I tend to walk up the stairs in a straight line. It's a unique property and worth the stay. Thank you Zack for opening your home to us!

This is an amazing, one-of-a-kind location, hand crafted and even more impressive in person. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful during the stay, including local recommendations and a tour of his art gallery below the property. I only wish I had booked a longer stay!
