Amazing Views and Privacy

Great Stay! Very clean. Unparalled views -- very private. Great tropical house. We loved the outdoor space and used the pool and hot tub every single day!

Fantastic stay in St Thomas

incredible stay, the views were beautiful, the house was clean and stocked very well. we spent most of our time on the patio overlooking the pool and ocean.

Great stay in St Thomas

Stayed for four nights with my girlfriend and friends and had a great time. We actually wished we could have stayed one extra day just to hang out at the house and pool. Easy check in and out and the house had everything we needed plus one of the best views on the island. There is a grocery store and a small beach close by. Easy drive to the airport and to get to the ferry. Would definitely choose to stay here in the future.

Family vacation

What a beautiful place. We had everything we needed. We had our coffee near the pool . The kitchen had everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. Rick was very friendly. We enjoyed talking to him . wonderful.

Villa Amout

Rick at Villa Amour is a great host! Has lived on STT for a long time. The house has a 2 M view and is very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, vinegars etc. The short drive to the house from the main road is a bit dicey due to the road condition but after a couple of trips it’s fine. Wish we had had a longer stay. Thank you Rick!

Wonderful vacation spot!

As stated, the house is an art lovers dream and the view is spectacular! The owners, Rick and Steve, made us feel very welcomed and were very helpful with recommendations to make our vacation memorable. The home is generously stocked and is equally perfect for active families and those who are looking for peace and relaxation. Perfect!

Amazing property with beautiful views!

Absolutely amazing stay! The views were breath taking and made for a relaxing vacation. Rick was an awesome host. Was available when we had questions and provided great suggestions. Loved the private beach at the end of the road. The road to the property was pretty rough, definitely needed 4WD. Can’t wait to come back and stay at this amazing property again!

Amazing Views

Our first trip to the Islands. Wonderful, breath taking views. The roads to the house were unexpected. Glad we rented a jeep for the week. Beaches are amazing. The house is beautiful and eclectic, beautiful artwork.

Great Flight Crew Stay

We are a flight crew of 3 plus my mother whom came to visit. Rick’s place was absolutely perfect! 4 bedrooms all having our own space and bathrooms connected to each room. Rick was wonderful helping out with picking up my mom from the airport and taking her to get some groceries before we(flight crew) came in. He was very helpful in answering all questions and we really enjoyed staying at Villa Amour. The pictures do not do the house justice. Such beautiful art out and in the house and views, wonderful.. We loved sitting outside by the pool. Rent a SUV because the road up to the house is tricky and no cabs will make it but once we were there, we didn’t want to leave! He had everything we needed in the house. A new grocery store called Moes is 10 mins down the road. We bought everything there. Thanks for everything. We can’t wait to book again next time we fly in!

Beautiful home with stunning view!

What can I say that others haven't already said?! Gorgeous home with a beautiful pool and hot tub, plenty of sitting/relaxing spaces, and a stunning view of the Atlantic. Every day we took the beach chairs and snorkel equipment and visited a new beach. Ordered take out several nights from "13" (just at the top of the hill) or cooked at home. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Rick was great. Hopefully we'll be back some day!

Great view, great private beach

We stayed for 4 weeks and I have to say that Rick is the best VRBO host I’ve ever worked with. We had a vehicle emergency and a medical emergency during our stay and Rick was extremely helpful in both instances. The view is spectacular and the almost private beach is like something out of Robinson Crusoe. Make sure you rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle or truck. We enjoyed the following Frenchtown restaurants: Oceana, Hook Line and Sinker, Bella Blu and the Frenchtown Deli for breakfast and lunch. The pool is not heated so it was cold on some days but better on others. The hot tub is a great stress relaxer.

Christmas in St. Thomas

The property manger Rick was a pleasure to communicate with. He quickly replied to all our pre travel questions, and was happy to give recommendations and local knowledge. He suggested that we rent jeeps, which proved to be essential. Rick lives on property which meant that responded quickly in person. The house is large and easily accommodated our party of 8 adults, there are two large tables which allowed us to eat both inside and out. The view from the pool is incredible, we spent the majority of our time outside by the pool and in the hot tub. It is a short drive down to a private and clean beach. Our suggestion for improvement would be for a deep clean and to refresh the linens.

winter/super bowl getaway

The property is beautiful and the view and grounds were amazing. Six adults had plenty of room to enjoy the pool, hot tub, dining and living areas. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful with any issues. They went above and beyond to help with a Valentine's dinner recommendation and help with transportation. The only downside is the travel to the villa on very bumpy roads and ability to get to restaurants/bars/stores etc. We did get more comfortable as time went on, but still did not do any night time travel. Thank goodness for the jeeps! Taxi travel is quite costly so all of our sightseeing was during the day. The beaches are beautiful and we saw some gorgeous views during our stay. The owners even gave us a tour of their new amazing property before we left. Overall a wonderful stay!

Beautiful House, Great Location and stunning views

Our family of 6 (2 adults 4 kids ages 7,8,11,12) traveled to St. Thomas for the first time for spring break. Speaking with Jeanna the house contact was always so easy and she was so helpful. You walk into the house and are greeted with a beautiful property and then see the pool and view and oh my goodness is it breathtaking. We visited different beaches every day and each had things we loved about it! Our private beach was wonderful to walk and explore. Magens Bay was wonderful and we loved Brewers Beach with the best little food truck that was there with pates and burgers and fries! We did a boat day around St. John and lunch in Lovango with Alibi Charters and it was stunning all around. We also ferried our car to St. John one day and explored their beautiful beaches, this is something you must do! Maho, Cinnamon and Trunk Bay were the ones we visited and they were all amazing! Our dinner at Fish House one night was amazing! The view and the food were insane. Also ate at Sibs on the Mountain which was great as well! The house and island is so beautiful! We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!!!!!!!

A Stunning Stay with Room for Improvement

Our recent stay at Villa Amour in St. Thomas was an experience filled with breathtaking views, gracious hospitality, and a few areas for enhancement. Rick, our host, was the epitome of accommodation and courtesy. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. His warmth and friendliness truly enhanced our experience. Villa Amour itself is a sight to behold, with its beautiful glass art decor adding a unique touch of elegance to every corner of the house. The pool, meticulously cleaned and thoughtfully designed, provided a refreshing oasis amidst the tropical surroundings. And oh, the view! Overlooking the pool, the vista of the surrounding islands and mountains was simply stunning, surpassing even our highest expectations. However, as much as we adored our time at Villa Amour, there were a few areas that could use some attention. The kitchen amenities, particularly the pans and grill, could benefit from an update or at the very least, a thorough cleaning. The lounge chairs, unfortunately, revealed signs of mold underneath, detracting from an otherwise serene atmosphere. Additionally, the cleanliness of the floors left something to be desired; despite our efforts to sweep daily, our feet were often black by day's end. Navigating to the villa presented its own set of challenges, with the road off the main thoroughfare proving to be bumpy and riddled with large potholes. Couldn’t be better!

Fully equipped house with pool and hot tub! Cool decor too. The layout of the house is so wonderful for having outdoor space that’s out of the rain/sun plus having various areas to be “away” from the whole crowd if you want a break.

Beautiful views!

We really enjoyed our stay! I loved opening the sliders every morning and eating breakfast on the lanai! Sky and ocean views everywhere we looked. The house stayed cool during the day and the bedrooms cooled off well at night. We made a few trips to the grocery store which was very convenient and used the kitchen and grill most days! If we head back to St Thomas, we’d definitely look to return to this fabulous home!

So relaxing

We had a wonderful time. The house and pool were amazing. Probably my favorite thing was the view though and the big pocket doors that opened to the pool area. You always felt like you were outside even when in the living room because of those.Every morning we’d open those up and watch the sunrise. They were also very accommodating,we got in very early Saturday and they let us check in 2 hours early and were at the door to greet us. The only downside was the road leading to the house but the owner prepared us beforehand. It’s a very bumpy 5 minute drive down to the house but well worth the view you got from that drive!
