This hotel is perfectly located—just a short drive to the charming medieval Èze Village, Monaco, and Nice yet it feels wonderfully secluded and serene. "The property is wonderful and the host very accommodating. The property is within a 5-8 minutes drive to 4 supermarkets and 15 minutes to the walls of Lucca. We were in Tuscany when the temperature reached 39C but the house was very comfortable with air-conditioning in all the bedrooms and high ceilings, marble floors and large screened windows throughout. There were few things that were worth noting. There was no cupboard space for provisions. The kitchen had two fridges and freezers so it was necessary to use one for food stuffs. The kitchen is not really set up for cooking for 8 people. Whilst there is enough crockery and cutlery the number of useful pots and pans were lacking. (There were plenty of other items) The host arranged for a local chef to come and cook when we didn’t feel like going out. Altogether a great experience but be prepared to take things in your stride.
