Great location and property is huge. Rooms are big. Outside is beautiful, with lots and nooks and crannies corn hole ping pong etc. service at the restaurants and bars was good. Live music was good. Food was good. Beds were terrible. The property needs updated furniture and more parking. We pulled in and drove around a couple times to look for a parking spot. Left for dinner and it was difficult finding a parking space upon our return.

I booked a beachfront suite with the mini kitchen. The room I was given did not have the mini kitchen. I said something to staff and they must had overbooked the hotel because they didn’t have anything left to offer. The carpets in the hall are dirty and need replaced. The whole hotel needs an update.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was great, as was the food and drinks. But the building is very old and general upkeep was lacking. I don't think our room was fully cleaned before we checked in (the floors were pretty dirty). The exhaust fan in the bathroom was full of lint, like it hadn't been cleaned in years.

Well we paid good money for a suite. It had old furniture..No light above the small kitchen. No table and chairs in the corner when there is room for someone to sit Only 2 chairs on the patio.. The floors are new tile and nice.. The caulk job in the bathroom looked a Kindergartner did it... Carpet in the hall looked like someone dunped wet dirt on it. Needs replaced NO Doubt.. The fire alarm went off for NO reason at 1 am so with a Knee replacement I got to go down 7 flights on stiars.. They did give back some cost for that

Horrible!! I can’t even start to talk about my frustrations because it would take a book. I live here & yet had to go home for the weekend because they were awful. Would not recommend this place to anyone!! 😑

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool and bar area was nice and relaxing. We ordered food from the restaurant. Food was good but took almost an hour to get.Right on the beach. Saw the sun set every night we were there. We paid for the beach view which was nice, but was just higher up than the other rooms so you could see the beach. Not actually facing directly towards the beach. No balcony to go out on just the view. The room has a large living room and separate bedroom. One thing that was not clear to me, there is an additional resort fee and separate parking fee. So, two additional fees which are paid when you check in.

I just returned from a 4 day stay at this resort and it was not what I expected. The area is amazing and the beach was absolutely beautiful, however there were several issues with the resort. First of all, I knew about the resort charges, however they were more than Expedia quoted, also they charged $25 a day for parking which was not expected. Secondly, I was placed in a room which was located on the same floor that their staff lives on. There were two different occasions when the workers next door to us tried to open the adjoining door to our room and even knocked on the door several times. I have 3 teenage children who didn’t feel safe. Also, the hotel allows their staff to use their pool and hot tub and on two occasions during my stay, the off duty staff members were listening to loud music and vaping marijuana. I stay in St. Pete every year and I have stayed at several of the area resorts and unfortunately this was the worst!

Sirata was a great resort within walking distance to many things in addition to the community rides via golf cart sun runner and trolly . The resort itself was clean right on the beach and the staff so friendly. The pools were phenomenal and the beach pristine . It looked like they were updating some rooms at the time which will be nice to see next time we come !

The property is in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet is filthy. A drunk homeless woman was washing her dirty clothes in the hot tub while I was trying to relax. Mind you, this is a “resort” and you’re supposed to be a paying guest to use the amenities. There are much better options for around the same price point. Avoid this place.

We live the family feel. We stayed at another local popular resort for many years until the family feel changed. I’m glad we tried the Sirata. The only cons: the parking fee on top of the resort fee is a bit much. Others include them together for less. The hammocks are great but kids have ruined most so they need to be fixed. If you want to relax in hot tub you have to hope it’s not inundated by pre teens & teenagers. The resort is beautiful, pools well maintained, great convenience store. Close to everything. We visit every few months!!!!

Was very disappointed- our first time staying here, won’t be back. 3 night stay and was not worth the $$ was way over priced for a room that needs a lot of updates - Room floor was very dirty I cleaned with a white towel and it was black after I wiped it -and the floor was warped from previous water damage , the closet door tracking all rusted and gross, the bed frames and table legs rusted - the sink was not clean- the cleaning lady total missed us on second day - the sliding door to lanai was not closing well very hard to lock - just very poor for the amount of money we paid which was a lot- plus our room was on the corner by the pool and bar was very noisy and multiple times had people trying to open our door thinking it was a bathroom!! No not a good time.

We booked a beachfront suite- NOT BEACHFRONT! There is a courtyard and building between your room and the ocean. Staff didn’t care to make it right. Rooms are spacious but dated. Floors in the room were disgusting. Turn your feet black when you walk on them.

They charge ( like all resorts I guess) all these additional fees- not disclosed easily before booking. 40 bucks a day " resort fee"? 25 bucks a day parking? All these additional taxes not disclosed when booking. We probably will do an air BNB next time to Florida. What a rip - off

The rooms are dirty! Dirt on curtains and stain on couch. When you order food plan to wait almost an hour due to short staff. Not worth the price especially what they charge for parking and resort fees.

I grew up on St. Pete Beach and come back almost every year to stay with my family and to visit with my family who live in the area. We stayed at the Alden for years before it was purchased by Tradewinds and have been looking for a new favorite place to stay. We really liked the Sirata resort itself- the pool by Rum Runners and the bar staff were great. What we didn’t like was that we got hit for fees after paying for the room, like the $40/ night resort fee (which did include use of bikes, pool towels and guest laundry, but not much more) and a $25/car parking fee, which added another $700-800 to our total bill. I was also a little disappointed in our “beachfront view”, which overlooked a large roof just below our balcony. Due to the expense we will look for another place to stay next time.

The staff at the bars was a bit less than average. Not very friendly. Housekeeping staff was friendly, but always seemed to forget some small service when cleaning. I did not like paying for parking when they have a gate which was always open, so anyone could go in or out. Food choices at the restaurants is very limited and all 3 restaurants have the same menu, so no variety.

The beach and pool areas were really just amazing. The beach was exceptionally clean and we were able to rent water sports on the beach in front of the hotel. The pool bar service for drinks and snacks was also nice The outside of the hotel was clean. The main disappointment was our room. While I understand we went there for the beach, our room was not clean. The towels were clean and the bedding was fine. However , there was a good bit of dust and filth on floor and around the bathroom. It seemed as if it had not had a deep cleaning in weeks. The lights were unplugged and the build up of dust and grime when I shifted the night stand to plug them in was bad. There was a dehumidifier in the room that had chunks of mold and dirt dumping out of it when the bucket was full. Which I had to empty within 4 hours of arriving. There was no luggage rack and because of the filth we had to store our suitcase packed up and upright. There is great opportunity for this resort to be amazing. But the room we were given was sadly in disrepair and not to normal standard of clean. We payed nearly $300 a night to stay here and while that is a good price of the area , I feel like the resort fell short. I think they can do better.

Needs renovation clearly they do t have enough staff to clean rooms daily and/pr thoroughly We heard from others the building we wer in was being torn down/sold so clearly it was not maintained. You can tell this was a staffing issue. Pool bars and staff were fantastic though and location is perfect. Resort fees were ridiculous and didn’t include anything

We had an issue with our room. It was supposed to be a family room set up, but the second bedroom was so small and strange. It had a weird window in the door. Went to the front desk and of course I had to pay for an upgrade, but they moved us and put us into, two adjoining rooms and I paid the difference. But from that experience moving forward, I felt great about being at the resort. I almost felt like checking out and going somewhere else, but I stuck with it and now I’m glad that I did the walk ability on the beach , Jimmy B’s coconut Charlie’s and of course Harry’s were all reasonable distance. You could walk by street or beach. We did do some walk around shopping one place to definitely go to would be Jonathan‘s Pass. Good shopping in food for 10 minute Uber ride
