"What started out as a shaky beginning to my stay at Bel Jou was quickly turned around by the thoughtfulness, professionalism, and accommodating attitude of the onsite manager, Dean. His willingness to listen and address my concerns made a noticeable difference to the overall experience. From that point on, the stay became much more enjoyable. The atmosphere shifted to a relaxed and welcoming vibe, allowing me to settle in, unwind, and truly enjoy what Bel Jou had to offer n they did have lots to offer. The highlight was the Thursday evening BBQ. Foood. Drinks and a great atmosphere. A special thank you to Dean for his genuine hospitality and for going the extra mile to ensure that what could have been a disappointing experience became a memorable and enjoyable stay."

"Host was 100% there all the way, a WhatsApp message away, you can say. She set up a ride to bring us to the property, greeted us and gave a short tour of the home. Everything was easy, set up to the door lock, wifi, washer and amenities of the home was all easy. Exactly in photos, not getting catfished. It was home away from home. We would definitely come again if we ever come back to St. Lucia."

"My visit to St. Lucia was my first solo trip, and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to stay. I was hoping for something simple yet beautiful, a place near the beach, with a great view that felt connected to the local culture. Staying with Lyn and Kelly exceeded every expectation I had, and then some. From the moment I arrived, Lyn and Kelly made me feel genuinely safe, welcome, and at home. I landed late on a Sunday when everything was closed, and without hesitation, they invited me to join them for dinner - such a small gesture that meant so much, especially as a solo traveler. Throughout the week, they went far beyond what you’d expect from hosts. They didn’t just offer recommendations, they actively helped me experience the island in a deeper, more meaningful way. Because of them, I was able to truly connect with the community and culture of St. Lucia, which ended up being the most memorable part of my trip. The location is also incredible - walking distance to the beach, easy access to buses, and a stunning view that made every morning and evening feel special. This stay was everything I hoped for and more. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lyn and Kelly to anyone, especially solo or female travelers looking for a place that feels both beautiful and deeply welcoming. I already can’t wait to come back and stay with them again. I 10/10 recommend."

"The Villa was spacious and beautiful, set for a fabulous view of the harbor. We could watch all the cruise ships come and go. The night sky was stellar!Thomas, our host, communicated promptly and supplied a contact where we found Ian Moses, (exellencetransportaservices), a terrific driver for each day of our stay in Castries. Ian drove us to Pigeon Island, the NP, which has good trails around it, a nice history museum and beach to cool off after all the activities. Ian gave us clear directions for finding our way back by bus. Without these men we would have had difficulty navigating St. Lucia. From the VRBO Thomas showed us where to eat which was a short but tricky walk downhill. A grocery store was within walking distance but it was quite a steep walk to return and thankfully there are cabs by the supermarket. Ian accommodated us each day and helped us see nearly the entire island during our three days. He drove us to Vieux Fort for our international flight back to Miami."
