Faultless service, an excellent and generous breakfast and unfailing helpful attitude from the staff who were all welcoming and friendly. We all thought this place was a real find with good and secure parking and a lovely ambience. 100% recommended"

"A lovely place to stay for our short break. Parking was off site but easy to manage. The family room was plenty big enough for the 4 of us. Breakfast waa delicious and cooked to order. The bar was a lovely environment to sit in the evening. Sadly the weather wasn't good enough to enjoy the lovely outside areas. "

"Absolutely no issues with my stay here, whilst travelling on business I spent an evening here, I have to say it was one of the friendliest locations I have stayed at, rooms were clean and quiet; great value for money, great breakfast, free parking on site. "I recently stayed in Room 33 and unfortunately it was a very poor experience from start to finish. The main issue is the location of the room, which is completely unsuitable for guests. It is positioned directly next to the disabled toilets and only about a metre away from the reception office door. This resulted in constant noise throughout the entire stay. Every time the reception office door was opened or closed, it caused our room door to vibrate loudly. This happened repeatedly and made it impossible to relax. In addition, the disabled toilet next door is in frequent use, and we could clearly hear everything — flushing, doors slamming, and general use. The noise levels were excessive and completely unacceptable for a hotel room. After travelling for four hours, we were hoping for an early night, but instead we were kept awake until after midnight due to the constant banging and disturbance. The disruption continued into the early morning. Around 5am, we were woken again by staff changeover, as the room is directly behind reception. We could hear conversations clearly, along with ongoing movement and door noise. This meant our sleep was repeatedly interrupted, making the stay exhausting rather than restful. The room itself also lacks basic comfort. The windows are single-glazed, do not shut properly, and offer little to no sound insulation, which only adds to the overall noise problem. On arrival, we were also disappointed to find that no food was available until 5pm"

"Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The smell was awful being masked by diffusers just not very well. The double room was two singles shoved together. Tiles in bathroom all lifted which caused me to kick them and take my toenail off. "
