What a view! Did we mention that the view from this Penthouse is spectacular. And that is not to mention the Penthouse itself. Again, spectacular. Combine the view and the Penthouse and it is just perfect for the two of you. Perfect!
You know that St. John is calling you home, pulling you back to the Caribbean’s unmatched blue green waters and pristine beaches! Enjoy your stay in this beautifully decorated one-bedroom penthouse suite located perfectly in the heart of Cruz Bay in Grande Bay Resort with spectacular views of the waters surrounding St. John and the USVI.
Tastefully decorated, this unit is furnished with a king size bed and is ideal for a couple celebrating a honeymoon, a birthday, an anniversary or just life! The full kitchen is well equipped and includes a dining table for two that looks out into Cruz Bay. The living room is also complete with comfortable seating and a TV. One of your favorite places to relax will be out on your private balcony – the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee while you take in the beauty of St. John’s mountains in the background and the brilliant blue of the Caribbean just beneath the balcony. You’ll find beach chairs, coolers and beach towels for your daily trips to Maho, Trunk, Honeymoon or any of the equally beautiful beaches that St. John has to offer! This unit will provide for your every need both at home or on the beach.
You’ll find that the shops in town, ferry dock and taxi stand are just a short walk on the beach away from your location. Many fine restaurants are positioned within just steps and offer gorgeous quiet morning views of the water or stunning sunset views in the evenings!
Grande Bay Resort provides a fantastic swimming pool and deck for sunbathing as well as a gym featuring the equipment you would want for a good workout. Whatever you need, we have it here to make your stay special.
Once you book, our management team will contact you and assist with any specific needs you have to make your vacation and visit to our island memorable. They can help you arrange for a jeep or car rental, provisions for the condo, or answer any questions you may have about St. John.

We could not have been more pleased with this beautiful condo. It far exceeded our expectations. The location is within a short walking distance to all of the restaurants, bars, and shopping in Cruz Bay. The assigned parking spot in the garage was awesome. The condo was so quiet with wonderful air conditioning and comfortable bed. The shower had good water pressure and having a washer and dryer in the condo was icing on the cake. Absolutely zero complaints with our stay. I hope to book this same unit for our next trip to St. John.

Perfect location

We stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The location is very nice and close to town which we liked a lot. The room was as advertised. Clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Communications were off the chart in a good way. Highly recommend.

Perfect!

Fantastic Property in Cruz Bay

Perfect rental if you want to be in Cruz Bay and walking distance to everything. Property is exactly as advertised, super clean and comfortable furnishings. Patio overlooking Cruz Bar is the perfect spot to start the day with your morning coffee. We highly recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate staying there again for our next visit

Beach Getaway

Great property very close to shopping and restaurants in Cruz Bay. Taxi stand and ferry terminal are also close. The view from the balcony was spectacular! Pool and a hot tub were nice to come back to at the end of a beach day.

Great Cruz Bay location

Very convenient location if wanting to walk to the various bars/restaurants in Cruz Bay. The condo is perfect for 2 people. The only down side was trying to fit into the parking spot (very tight and had to fold in the side-view mirrors on both sides of the Toyota RAV4). I’d stay there again. It was nice to sit on the deck and watch the boats in the bay.

Incredible Stay

We had 2 glorious weeks in this villa, but 2 weeks wasn’t enough in this paradise. This penthouse villa was even more than we imagined. Amazing view of Cruz Bay on the balcony where we enjoyed coffee every morning and reading and relaxing at night. All of the amenities this villa offered made it our home away from home. Can’t wait to return.

Great location, perfect unit for 2

This is our second stay at a Grande Bay Penthouse suite. There are 2 Penthouse floorplans and thisbkne is the smaller of the 2. What i liked better with this floorplan was the wonderfull balcony bar overlooking Cruz Bay which was missing on the larger unit. The laudry appliances are in the bedroom which is a little awkward, and the bed was too soft for my taste. However the unit was immaculate and adequately furnished for our needs. Overall, highly recommended.

2 week stay

We have used Grande Bay several times. When we return for another visit we will stay there again. It is clean, cool and has comfortable beds as well as you do not have to worry where you will park when you go to dinner because you can walk there in just a couple of minutes. This unit was no different. Great stay.

Another perfect St John vacation

We stayed in this unit for 6 nights. The room was comfortable, the furniture looked new, the bed pretty comfortable though my husband enjoys a firmer mattress, I thought it was fine, just a tad high for a shorty. The place was clean, the view exquisite. It’s close to walk wherever you like in Cruz Bay. We ate out every night . We did not rent a car and it was just fine.We used a company to provision our unit. We never used the pool or exercise room. We love Grand Bay, it’s fabulous place to stay.

Spring Getaway

Beautiful property! The bed was very comfortable! Kitchen was a great setup if you wanted to cook in. We enjoyed using the pool onsite and walked a short walk into Cruz Bay for most meals, checking out all the great options. We picked up some drinks and snacks from Dolphin Market & Baby’s (walking distance). Easy location to catch a cab to the beaches or a ferry to other islands. The power did go out while we were there, but with the generator you didn’t even really know it was out, and you don’t need electricity at the beaches! Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely property

Everything was great, the location, the check in (simple as could be), the condo itself, the view, the pool, the bed is super comfortable, and the decor is not at all Vrbo-standard (meaning everything’s not from a certain Sweden-based furniture store). Some issues were: garage parking, while included (and that’s great) is challenging. There was a coffee maker (drip for the information of future guests) but no coffee. And we did not have hot water in the shower ever. It’s about ocean temperature. But I would definitely still stay here again

ROSES AND THORNS

We have stayed at the Grande Bay Resort many times. Many of those times in both penthouse and regular units, we prefer the penthouse for the view. As guests over 65 there are certain things that are helpful to improve the quality of our stay and I imagine for anyone with some aches and pains. The smart height toilets are a great plus for those with bad knees. Kitchen appliances and utensils were good. The kitchen and outside chairs looked nice but very uncomfortable and cushioning tired. A regular table outside with comfortable chairs would be great since some people cannot use high top chairs. It would be helpful if the listing indicated the building number of unit and that there about 8 steps to the elevator from the garage floor. These are merely suggestions and observations Overall the unit was very clean and would gladly return to this unit. Thanks
