"Overall, it was a good experience. Location to ferry and downtown mackinaw was good. Cabin was good size for what we wanted. Right on the beach. However the beach is very rocky. Make sure to have water shoes for the kids. Check in was good, except being told we could check in at 1pm and showing up at 3pm and the unit was being cleaned at that time. "It was a bit tricky to find since it is hidden behind a hotel. Google maps took us to the right parking lot (Waterfront Inn) - just go all the way to the back. If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. Just about perfect but missing some little details like wall hooks in bathroom/bedroom, a broom for sand on the porch, etc. Easy walk to Arnold ferry and downtown shops. Large bed in one bedroom, and bunk beds in an open alcove next to the bathroom - great for kids. We...

"Modern, clean, and accessible to all sorts of northern Michigan adventures. Unexpected pros- beautiful private dock on the lake, very nice hot tub and outdoor shower, full amenities. Unexpected cons - space is private but very close to adjacent properties, highway noise isn't loud but audible, boggy area so it means bugs abound. "
