The house is in a PERFECT location -- just blocks from the heart of downtown St. Helena and easy walking distance to everything you would want: fabulous restaurants (Charter Oak, Farmstead, Cook, Market, Gotts, Tra Vigne, Model Bakery, and more), wineries (Merryvale Vineyards, Clif Family Winery, Hall, etc.), great spa with heated pool (Health Spa Napa Valley), old-timey neighborhood grocery store, movie theater, and wine bars. Plus, one of the biggest treats is just right outside the front door: miles and miles and miles of walkable country paths in open fields, vineyards and parks!

The stunning, single level 2BR/2BA home has been impeccably remodeled, in a clean and Modern architectural style, with soaring ceilings and lots of skylights. Jewel box treasure

The owner takes great pride in this property and it shows in every detail. The inside which is spotless and the beautiful grounds are to be enjoyed. The location is perfect for exploring the town of St. Helena on foot.

St Helena Gem

Adorable home with a wonderful back garden. Host was very responsive and there were no issues. Location can't be beat. Only thing I would suggest would be to have fewer accessories, more drawers and kitchen cabinets available so renters have more space for their items but regardless the place is wonderful! We can't wait to go back!

The most beautiful time of the year to be in St Helena was November. Fall colors are simply beautiful. This charming house does not disappoint. It’s warm, inviting and has a great kitchen for cooking. Beautiful backyard with plenty of seating. Safe and quiet neighborhood and walking distance to town, groceries, restaurants, movie theater, and close to all other surrounding towns and vineyards. Highly recommend this house. Julie is an excellent hostess and available anytime!

Perfect Artist Solitude

As an artist, I'm always looking for properties that offer the ability to reconnect with nature and offer a peaceful respite to the hustle and bustle of everyday. This home was it! I was able to relax and rejuvenate in the comfort of this well-appointed home with a lovely, serene backyard. I spent every morning and every evening outside. The golden hours are perfect here. I was able to complete an artwork here -- my washi tape artwork - red wine goblet. It was just what this artist needed. Thank you!

Amazing location and great home

We loved our 6 week stay at this home. The location allowed us to walk to all our dinners and the grocery store during our entire trip. The backyard was fantastic and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather with all the multiple sitting areas. We really enjoyed going to sunshine grocery and cooking in the kitchen with the professional range. Our host was very gracious and kind and checked in multiple times to ensure everything was going well and we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The host provided all of the kitchen essentials and much more. House was well stocked and decorated in a very personal and authentic way. What a terrific 2 weeks perfectly located in St. Helena!With the fickle February weather, we were thankful for the cozy, warm, and bright cottage—especially the fireplace! Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the amazing outdoor setting. Would certainly return! Thank you!

Our 3/12 week stay in January was a perfect blend of beauty comfort & tranquility! The beautifully decorated home with antiques was bright,open & felt like a warm hug. The kitchen was large & functioned well. The bedrooms comfortable with pretty bedding & furniture. The master with lovely views of the expansive & serene backyard with access through french doors was ideal. The living room fireplace felt "old world" & such a warm pretty touch to the home. We absolutely loved walking in the neighborhood, quiet & quaint & close to St Helena shopping, restaurants & wine tasting rooms! Exploring Calistoga's restaurants & wineries a bonus also. We were always so happy to return to our haven here!Thank you Julie for a fabulous stay! We are looking forward to our return next year & appreciate all you did to make us feel so welcome.

A true Oasis

Fabulous Stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Julie’s house! The house is beautifully decorated and the art throughout is absolutely amazing. The backyard is an oasis! Each area having its own vibe or section with art and decorations, flowers are amazing. The house is in a perfect location. You can walk to downtown St Helena - shops, restaurants, tasting rooms all close by. We also enjoyed how close all the wonderful hiking options are. Julie gives so many details and really takes pride in her beautiful home. She was quite helpful and responsive, fabulous host!

What a gem

Lovely home

We stayed in this property for just over a month. It had all the amenities you could want including full washer & dryer, Wolf range, main bath with separate shower and large tub, comfortable seating areas and large back yard with dining and sitting areas. The entire house and yard were beautifully decorated. The house was also close to the downtown shops and restaurants, to which we often walked. We would totally recommend staying here.

This is a wonderful property. My lower rating is the result of all the pollen and tree droppings covering everything. Of course, this may be due to the timing of the year and is situational and may not have any bearing for others.. But unfortunately, I had to cut my stay short because of the severe pollen which created an adverse allergic reaction, making it intolerable for me to stay. I do not have a history of allergies and this was my first time experiencing such a reaction. There is no way of knowing that would be a problem. So sad because the property is so beautiful and ideally located.

Great little house in a great little town

My wife and I are thinking about moving to Napa Valley in a few years and wanted to get more of a feel of what it’s like to truly live and work from there as opposed to always being there on vacation. This house worked out perfectly for us. It had the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO that we’ve ever stayed at as well as very well-stocked with sundry items such as paper towels, plastic bags, toilet paper, etc.. The house was very well laid out for two people as well as being roomy enough for us to have guests a couple times during our five weeks stay. It had a huge backyard that felt like the biggest backyard in all of Saint Helena. Great for relaxing as well as doing a little entertaining back there. The town of Saint Helena itself is charming and full of restaurants and interesting little shops. Most were walkable from the house. Our favorite was the burger and salad and old fashioneds at the happy hour at the Charter Oak restaurant. Market was another favorite restaurant. Owner was very responsive to all of our questions, and even managed to get Comcast over to the house on Easter day to fix a little Internet problem that came up. I wish I had the same sort of sway with Comcast. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it for others
