"We stayed in the cottage which was absolutely delightful; very clean; lots of character and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed an amazing meal, and the staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. We would love ❤️ to stay again, Lisa and Mick "
"Only stayed for 1 night while in the area for a wedding and its a perfect base. Comfortable and clean, with a great cooked breakfast. Kerry, the new owner, was really helpful and friendly and made everything super easy"
"The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. "
"Good communication before and during our stay.
Exceptionally clean
Quiet location.
Good seating areas x3 for family
Well equipped kitchen
Good room for the dog/s to stay"
"We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom.
We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

"A lovely warm greeting from Tim, he gave us all the information we needed and when he found out we had to leave the following morning by 6am, he went above and beyond for us. Made sure we knew where all the breakfast bits and bobs were and gave us a demo for the hot water. Tim then proceeded to set a table up ready and waiting for us in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for Tim, he is an excellent host, food advisor and a parking advisor too!
The whole place was spotless and smelt gorgeous in whichever room you walked in to. Beds were very comfy too. We just loved our short stay here. Will definitely return if we venture this way again. 😊 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "
