"My partner and I stayed at Michelle & Neville's lovely place for 2 nights as part of our across-NZ journey. The place was perfectly clean and incredibly relaxing. It was spacious and had every amenity we needed - even laundry and fresh eggs and tasty snacks for breakfast. We had some good chats with our hosts as well, and they were very kind and helpful with suggestions on what to check out during the next leg of our journey. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway."

"We enjoyed our stay, we could park the car for the weekend and just ride bikes or walk everywhere. The garage was good to store bikes out of the weather. The rooms were a nice size. Really good contact/communication from the owner."

"We loved the fact there was a great restaurant on site with our accommodation. The added bonus was a Saturday night quiz that we were encouraged to participate in. Our room was a standard queen, it is dated and requires some refurbishment but the bathroom has had a very nice overhaul. Walls are thin, take earplugs if you have an early morning departure."

"House was even better than photos. Well equipped and warm once you get the fire going. There is a comfortable feeling to the place. Easy walk to town. Our family all enjoyed their stay."

"I was bit hesitant booking this hotel as it's 50 kms away from Lake Pukiki and Lake Tekapo/Mt. Cook were further away. However, it turned out to be great stay. The motel is maintained very well. All the amenities were good and very clean. The owners are very hardworking and make sure that the guests are comfortable. Location of the motel is great too. Benmore is underrated and not in the list of must-see-places in NZ. A change of plan due to weather gave us an opportunity to visit and it turned out to be highlight of our trip. I wish we had more time at Sierra and Omarama. "
