"We booked both rooms. The rooms are okay and clean. Felt a bit aged and hadn’t been used for a while. Instructions are minimal, and shampoo is missing in 1 room, the same room the 1 ceiling light was broken. I guess if you are tired after the bike trail for a stopover, you may not care that much, but not an ideal place to relax. We couldn’t really cook or BBQ here. "sharon is a sympathetic, interesting host and offers a very good service with the maintenance of the cottage. we have the impression that this is above the normal average. the cottage is furnished with natural materials. it is cosy and small. we enjoyed the view of the hills here and were able to relax and drive down very well. we stayed for 3 weeks and think that this was a good decision."

"Well what a beautiful old hotel this is, WOW, only faults were room a little small and had shared tea/coffee area but that not a biggy, as we rated everything excellent, comfy bed, very clean, tidy room, staff awesome, dinner was out the gate and breakfast and atmosphere unreal, garden bar awesome, would highly recommend this hotel, the drive out was a tad scary for me as roads very narrow but thatadds to the adventure, so much history as well at the hotel"
