Beds and comforters extremely comfortable.
Shower too small and water pressure is dismal
Kitchen well furnished
Dream location-gardens, alpacas, old cottage in Scottish lowlands, quiet, charming!
A gorgeous wee house. Lovely surroundings- old railway bridge, river, alpacas, great part of the world. Very near bonnie St.Andrews. Perfect cosy stay for Christmas.
This is a great little cottage surrounded by beautiful country and just a short drive from St. Andrews. Water pressure in shower is a little challenging but a great place to stay.

Under whelmed
The cottage was cold and smelt dreadful, especially the second bedroom. We left a day early.
When we first arrived the cottage had that old house/cottage musty smell so opened ALL the windows. Bedrooms were nice except I found a blanket in a wardrobe with, I think, dog hairs on it. We love dogs but maybe a notice to say they were for dogs and perhaps washed before next visitors, a small thing for us but maybe not for some others. Although the antique chairs and couch look nice they were not very comfortable. The chairs at the table were awful, tippy with short uncomfortable backs. The dishes and pots and pans could do with being replaced. Light not working in back entrance, little hall outside toilet room. Shower was an experience, tiny and moldy on the bottom of the curtain as was the shower mat. The cottage had a lot of character cosy fire but was shocked with a notice that said we would have to pay an extra 3 pounds for a few more logs, really!!! It is part of heating an old cottage. We were only there for two nights and didn't manage to explore the surrounding property which I'm sure would have been interesting.
