Cornwall at its best
We've just returned to Germany from our two-week stay at this location and we enjoyed our stay.
The park is well-maintained and is run by a very polite and helpful management and their staff. They definitely did their very best to let all the guests feel as comfortable as possible.
All in all, we can recommend this place as the site itself is wonderful and it is also a perfect base to visit all the beautiful places in central and western Cornwall such as Perranporth, Newquay, Penzance, St. Agnes, St. Ives and even Land's end (just to mention a few).
Our host Jane was absolutely lovely from the very beginning, guiding us through the booking process and the check-in. Moreover, she immediately took action once we had arrived when we had an issue with animal hair in the house.
This leads us to the only piece of criticism we have to voice. As dogs are permitted in the house, we did have issues with pet hair allergies. Despite Jane's immediate response to send over the cleaning lady, it apparently wasn't possible to completely remove the hair from the furniture, especially from the carpets. The upstairs rooms were not affected by that, we weren't able to use the living room area, though.
Although this was an issue for us, we can still recommend this place to spend a wonderful holiday at. If you have younger children, the playground is just opposite the house so they can play there and you can supervise them from up close.
