"The room was clean. My son enjoyed his time at the pool. The breakfast was delicious. However, what made our stay exceptional was the friendly staff. When we had our car brake down, they were very accommodating by providing us with late check-out. They answered all our questions and showed kindness throughout our whole stay. "

"The host was amazing, and made my trip perfect. When we first walked in they had Easter themed baskets set up it was so cute with some candy. We brought our pups and they ended up getting wet out at Dinosaur valley state park. I brought it up to the host asking if they had a water hose I could use when we got back he had a blue pool the hose ready and special towels for the pups hung up on the fence. The host really goes above and beyond, the rooms were adorable you could see how much thought was put into the space. If we ever crossed paths with him he always waved and said hello and was so extremely kind. His dogs were adorable and well behaved. It was the perfect place to stay the sunset view from the back porch was something that I wasn’t expecting so definitely be on the look out. Overall this was the best experience I have had at a stay. The yard is spacious and gave our pups so much room to run around and play. It was perfectly dark outside at night so the view of the stars were amazing. I highly highly recommend staying here if you are going to dinosaur valley or just want to hang out in the country for the weekend!!! "

"The area where this cabin is located is beautiful! It was kept clean however, some updates are definitely needed. The beds were super loud/squeaky when getting in/out. Couch seemed pretty well loved and the cushions wouldn’t stay in place when sitting. The firepit outside also had a hole in it, so we were unable to use it. Just, a very well loved cabin that needs a couple fixings! Other than that, we absolutely loved it. We had no other issues. We really enjoyed the stay and glen rose area. "

"This was the perfect place to unwind! No frills but had everything we needed except the Wi-fi was spotty. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. We got to snuggle some newborn puppies, had firewood delivered to us at the fire pit and came home w farm fresh eggs. Great little get away!"

"This resort was a slice of Heaven in an area that feels quite remote. The check in is amazing because they just text you a code to get into your room so you don’t have to go to a main desk. The room felt massive and was extremely clean&gorgeous. There was a mini fridge that kept our food perfectly cold, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds were well cared for, and just down the block we found a beautiful river. They were very welcoming to my dog, who I brought to get him out of the house while we were having work done. Checking out was a breeze, it was a simple text. If you want to get away and not talk to anyone, this is very possible here. But if you like to socialize, there were quite a few families hanging out in the main area playing games and talking. It’s not a party zone, at all, so if that’s what you’re looking for (I definitely wasn’t) then this is not the place for you. It was soul restoring, for sure. I plan to go back at least twice a year.The only thing I was confused about was that it said there was a $25 credit per day, but no one mentioned where to use that at check in (via text), so I asked and was told to use it in the self serve bodega for snacks or merch, but no instructions on how to do so, so I was unable to use that. There should be better information on that, without asking. No one entered my room to make the bed, pick up towels or trash so that was weird, but they did pick up my trash when I messaged.Wonderful stay, will be back again! "

"Prepare to relax. No TV. No phones. No hair dryers. Dog and cat-friendly to the extreme, which was fine with us. The weather was beautiful, so we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the town pass by, or having our morning coffee on the banks of the Paluxy River, or dining at the Tavern at night. Everyone was friendly. The manager Pam was attentive to our needs and questions. It’s in the heart of old downtown Glen Rose, which was fun to explore. We’ll be back."
