The three bedroom two bathroom house has everything you could want including an unmatched view of the river basin, professional kitchen with a bar, fireplace, hot tub, two car garage and a sun-room with a lift up glass garage door to the covered porch. It sits less than a mile above Springfield State Park which boasts two boat ramps and a fish cleaning station. Also, you have the benefit of being in town–you could walk to the restaurant, bars, grocery store and public swimming pool. Come and stay–all you need is your groceries, toiletries and gear . The property was very nice and easy to find. Really enjoyed the open kitchen/dining/living area. Very clean and close to the river. Loved that it was all one level for my parents so they didn't have to deal with steps. Joe was very responsive to any questions that I had. I would stay here again! Thanks Joe!

Quiet Getaway on the River
Jon was very accomodating, replying to our questions promptly. We LOVED the Gourmet Cook Stove in the kitchen! It made cooking fun! And because the kitchen is an open concept, we could all pitch in to bring a meal together while visiting with everyone.This is important, since there are not a lot of dining out options in Springfield!! We would definitely stay here again.

The River House was just right for a family gathering. Our host gave us referrals for kayaking and we now have sweet memories of the Missouri River and all the wildflowers! The kitchen, the hot tub and excellent views were just what we needed.

Great Place - Fantastic Getaway!!
Everything from booking to checking out was perfect! Jon was wonderful to work with and the communication was excellent. This property has everything you will need, it is very clean, well stocked, very spacious and with a great kitchen!!
