FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, Crappy customer care - NEVER AGAIN
DO NOT STAY HERE!!
To start, I only knew of it being on 3rd floor by reading review. Since my husband had to have surgery the week before we arrived, I tried to cancel over a month before going. I was told "you are free to cancel." I had a hunch it was misleading, so I asked about cx fee and was told, I would be charged the full price, NO EXCEPTIONS. So, we stuck it out. We were flying and driving in, so I really wanted to have all check-in info prior to traveling. They refused, said I'd get it an hour before check-in. When we arrived, the entire unit smelled of weed...BADLY. To the point of giving us headaches. They advertised 2 queen beds in each room, but 1 room only had 1 bed. Their response, "it was an honest mistake." They were to have the cleaning company come and "spray" for the smell. No one showed nor did mgmt offer a follow up or any other compensation. However, in their policy, they state you get charged a minimum of $500 for any smoke or weed smell. Yet, zero compensation to guests for dealing with it over the holidays. Other issues included: shower leaking all over floor, broken lamp, laundry closet door completely off the hinges and had to be moved to laundry-very heavy. And, then you got to listen to a VERY loud machine. The worst of it, when I contacted VRBO, I was told any refund or solution was 100% up to the hot. So what is the point of VRBO? This is ridiculous IMO. If any other guests had similar experience, please leave review & contact BBB
