"Ari exact 2:30 in afternoon and was told room was not ready. Check-in supposedly at 3 p.m. Staff seemed to be to not be in a mood to accept a guest checking in. Breakfast not to healthy. Sugary donuts and cereal. No variety for a person that is health conscious."

"Good Things: bar in lobby, good breakfast, some updates Not so good: only some updates, can’t get a swim in before breakfast because pool doesn’t open until 9 am and breakfast ends at 9:30am. The only king room left was first floor right next to lobby entrance felt like a fish bowl with window next to entrance. Asked for a different room but staff couldn’t upgrade us to king suite because we booked third party - Expedia. We would have paid up charge to different room type. Had Expedia talk with hotel and between them they still couldn’t accommodate the change. That’s ridiculous! We were penalized because we booked Expedia. Room was dark the whole time with light blocking shade pulled down for privacy (no sheers). Makes me question booking via Expedia if hotel’s hands are tied to make changes. Manager refunded resort fee as curtosey which was nice but really?"

"We stayed in 301 deluxe rm. I believed was downstairs. We had to carry everything up very steep stairs. She said she'd put us downstairs but there wasn't anything available. The code was on the dark low doorknob. My husband had to kneel with his light phone to do it. Above hall lights there were nests of bugs! No waste basket in the room. When the tiny basket in the bathroom was full, I had to get a trash bag from the nice lady at the bar. The worst was that the floor was so crooked it gave me vertigo the first night. The bathroom floor was so bad that when I dropped an empty little bottle on the floor it quickly rolled across the floor to the tub. The bedroom was the same. You could feel it and see the crooked gap at the top of the two chairs and bureau mirror. As we walked across the very squeaky floor that moved, we had some things fall off the front of the bureau onto the floor at night. There was no table in the room, so we had to use to use the top of the bureau to prepare our food. The last morning I saw the bed headboard was separated from the frame. A row of nails showed. It's the worse place we've ever stayed in. If we could have gotten reimbursed, we would have gone somewhere else. On a good note the lady that tended the bar and also was our waitress one night we ate there (on our anniversary) was very nice and the meal was good. We knew it would be because we've eaten there before when we stayed in another place.. which we wished we had again."

"Our favorite go to place in the White Mountains. Roomy cabins which have been beautifully updated and are well maintained. Fun for the kids: putt putt golf, corn hole, play area, upsized outdoor chess game, with a minimal resort fee. Easy park in front of each cabin. Grill access for each cabin: note any fire restriction rules. Great place!"
