"The unit is nice and great for a family to have their own rooms. I did not realize it was on the third floor (did not see it mentioned) and wished I had known due to difficulties with stairs. The beds were comfy, and everything was nice. We did not use any of the amenities (pool, cinema, etc) but they seemed to have a lot to offer. Was not a fan of the timeshare push. "Get away from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg and stay here! A very seamless and quick (free) car ferry ride across the James to get to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. This place is great for families. There is even a basketball hoops the kids enjoyed! Lots of space to move and very quiet and serene. We tried 2/3 restaurants in town, both good. Neighbors were friendly and lots of charm. Amanda was fabulous to work with during our stay."

"We traveled with friends and our kids and loved this place. There was plenty of room for all of us. The deck was also great to sit out on. The weather wasn’t great when we stayed so we didn’t get to use most of the amenities the resort offers but the indoor pool and hot tubs were great. Breakfast in the restaurant was wonderful and the coffee in the coffee shop was great too. We will definitely be back in the future."

"What an absolute fantastic weekend in Va. My son is a Marine stationed at Fort Greg-Adams. He was given his 96hr leave for the Holiday weekend. We found this gem of a home in rural Va. The home is spacious and very clean. There are amazing amenities. Washer/dryer, front deck, bar-b-que handicap accessible door. Just a great home for a weekend. If you are a history buff it is double the bonus. There are plenty of Civil war trails to explore. Everything about the house and stay is an A++++++++++....

"On arrival at the property it was obvious that the exterior and gardens were not well cared for at all. Dirty windows, weeds and many spider webs and cobwebs. The interior was extremely well equipped and very spacious, however on further inspection we could see that the house was pretty grubby, especially the kitchen where cupboards and drawers had to be cleaned before use. "Perfectly clean and comfortable but no privacy. Pet friendly but neighbor allowed their dog to come to fenced yard at all hours which made my 1 dog bark. Not sure if neighbor was owner. Great fenced yard but as I stated, no privacy. Homes close by even in backyard. Fine for families who want to visit from out of town visiting Busch Gardens/Water Country and CW as backyard is entertaining and home is affordable. Just not what we were looking for. "Beautiful old manor house in an awesome location. Our family enjoyed their visit and the grounds were great for walking and enjoying nature. Only a 6 minute walk from the house to the beach/James River and well worth it!"
