"It was nice to be welcomed by Ricky at the airport to walk to the apartment which is just less than 500 meters away. The beach is about 10 minutes on foot and the shop to fill up drinking water is on the other side of the street which is super cool when you have to fill a big bottle for your week’s consumption. "The property is well maintained and spacious. The entire staff was friendly and provided great service. Everything was delicious and they had a nice assortment of different foods and desserts. The musical entertainment sounded fantastic and it was lively and interactive. Vacationing in San Andres was like going to paradise."

"I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay. I had stayed at this location before and enjoyed it, but this experience was completely unacceptable from start to finish. The first issue happened at check-in when staff gave my fiancé a difficult time checking in. Things only got worse from there. On Friday night, there was no hot water. I attempted to address the issue with staff, but no one seemed to care or provide any meaningful assistance. Unfortunately, the hot water issue continued throughout the stay. The most serious incident happened at the pool. The pool already had a sandy bottom, and while exiting the pool I stepped on a rusty tack. I immediately went to the front desk for help and asked if the employee spoke English. She said no, so I requested a manager who spoke English. Instead of providing a manager, they brought someone over to translate. I specifically requested management because this was a serious safety issue. Staff then told me I needed a tetanus shot because of the rusty tack. I agreed, but they later changed their mind and said they would not assist because I booked through Expedia. Whether I booked through Expedia or directly with the hotel should not matter — the injury happened in the hotel’s pool, and the hotel is responsible for maintaining a safe environment. Instead of properly handling the situation, they called my fiancé and told him to come get me from the desk because I was “causing a scene.” Do not expect good service if booking using a t"

"The pool was under construction or they were remodeling it. It would be nice to know these things before hand because for us the pool was a big plus when booking our reservation. Also, they did not have hot water. They stated that they were having an inspection which they were verifying that they were not providing ocean water to the guests. We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t have hot water for the whole stay. Other than that, the people who work there were extremely helpful and polite."
