We prefer the west side of the island and this house is a big reason why. Love having a door that opens directly onto the beach. Great snorkeling on the west side of the island and Fredericksted is more our speed than Christiansted. We will be back, most likely sooner rather than later. "

"To say that this property was fantastic is an understatement. Not only was it large, well-appointed and extremely comfortable,but the balcony/veranda was wonderful, with a magnificent view of Frederiksted and the Caribbean. We spent a lot of time just relaxing out there, including all our at-home meals, treated to views of the surrounding countryside and wildlife such as egrets, hummingbirds and hawks. Robin and Michael are very responsive hosts as well as fine people, and we felt we made two new friends. Had we been able to do so, we'd still be there. We can't recommend Carmen's Rest highly enough."
