When we checked in the lobby was dirty, it was still dirty after we returned from dinner and the next morning. The elevator felt like a "death trap"---bang, jolted and made grinding noises--felt very unsafe. The room was very dark..light bulb burned out in bathroom (asked to have it replaced and wasn't done). Bathroom face towels had hair in them and did the bathtub. Bed was good---AC was loud, but worked. Breakfast was below expectations and disappointing. Very bad overall experience.

My daughter was staying there for the State Golf Championships and one night someone knocked on their door at 10:30 at night. Apparently it was a manager making sure someone was in the room. Probably should already of known that. Scared the crap out of the 2 girls staying there. Keys never worked. The elevator was a terrifying experience and very limited staff. Would not recommend.

The breakfast was ok, so we chose to eat out instead. When asked for housekeeping, the bathroom and room itself was not cleaned, only the bed was remade and towels restocked. It was quiet, which was a plus.

This property is currently in renovation. The rooms were not clean. The general condition of furniture was poor with multiple chips, scratches and dirt. I have no idea how they got the rating they did on Expedia.

Overall, the hotel was great. We got a great room that was spacious and right next to the exit, which was great with having a dog with us. What I would change is the amount of parking (not enough for when all rooms are booked, as they were at the time we were there) and the staffing. We just barely made it to check in at midnight. If we had been 5 or 10 minutes later, we would have had to wait until the next morning to check in. I'm thankful we got there when we did! The person at the reception desk was very nice.

Hotel appered to be going under some type of construction. I feel that should be provided information to any guests booking a room. Hotel seemed to be housing a kids basketball team, so the hotel staff told us, extra pillows, blankets, sheets were going to be difficult to find becasue "the hotel" was out of everything. We arrived early, about 2:20pm, tried to check in or at least see when we could. The guy at the front desk had no personality, seemed annoyed or something. The guy at the frint desk just simply said "check in, isn't for another 40 mins". Conversation over. We then asked for a late check out. Some gal said she could make it happen. Well, when we tried to return to our room around 11:40ish, our key cards didnt work.. So, we had to go back down to the lobby all wet, we had just came from the pool to get a new key. I am just confused on why that even needed to happen, it was a complete inconvenience for us. Will be contacting hotel manager for some type of adjustment to our stay cost for the continued issues. Arriving, we found the parking lot dirty and the landscaping unkept. We checked in and found our room very cold, the heat was off with the temp outside at near freezing, We turned on the heat and it was blowing dust and making a loud noise. the bathroom fan did not work, and the latch on the ground floor window has a broken latch and no window screen.The lady at the desk had to come and remove the filters for the HVAC unit to clean them as they were extremely clogged. No regular maintenace as we found with other issues such as the fan. One reason we choose to stay there was breakfast. We went at 8am to find only a few items and every surface was dirty and sticky. We dropped off the keys without even a "thanks for staying with us" from the desk clerk and drove to get food else where. Very disapointed!

WOW one of the one worst places I've ever stayed. The mattress in my room was caved in so bad that I had to lay at an angle to sleep... very uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping sideways to try to get some sleep. The noise level was like a really cheap apartment complex. I could hear every step the person upstairs took. Every time they opened and closed their dresser doors woke me up... and it continued until 2 am. The noise in the hallway was really loud in the middle of the night.. but I guess it didn't help that my room was the first one off the elevator. The heater made this non stop squeaky noise to the point my 2 year old daughter said "whats that noise?" The "breakfast" was not ready to go at 6am either day I was there... which I guess it doesn't matter because it was disgusting anyway. Ended up leaving with a pre-packaged coffee cake. Save your money and find somewhere else to go.

The rooms are clean and fairly large. We had a king sized room that had recently been renovated. The check in was easy and the staff was courteous. We stayed for a quick overnight stay and it had everything we needed.

We checked in rather late in the evening. The young man, Matt, was welcoming and friendly. We travel with a dog and he did a good job getting that part of our check in accomplished. We were at this property a few weeks ago. There was a flood due to broken pipes in the cafeteria area. The absolutely charming hostess in the make shift cafeteria then had a huge breaker electrical outage - it was a bit of a calamity of circumstances out of any staff member’s control. These humans stepped up to the task. They were kind, apologized, did everything in their power to make things right for guests. Every single staff member we have encountered has gone above and beyond. Yes this is a budget property- I have stayed in hotels for my work my entire adult life - I would recommend this lodging to anyone. Well done to the team and staff!

We reserved 2 rooms. First room we walked into was super hot because the heat was on high. I walk over to turn it off and the ground floor level window was open. This feels super unsafe and first warning lights went off. After closing and locking the window I look down to the heater and see a pair of socks balled up on the ground- definitely not mine as we had just walked into the room. More warning flags- who was in the room before us and was it even cleaned or attended to? Then I flip up the access controls on the heater and there is a folded handwritten note to call someone to have a good time. I'm really not kidding. This same room was so dim with only the bathroom area lights and 1 lamp and 1 overhead light for the sleeping area. They had recently redone the flooring, but whoever installed should have to come and redo. The gaps in the flooring were awful and a hazard to walk on. The 2nd room also had a missing wall/electrical cover in the bathroom. Big reason we reserved was the pool. Family raced down to be disappointed. Hot tub was closed and smelly and green and was a hazard to even have people around. What if someone fell in??My kids named it Shrek water. The pool was just as sad because it was freezing. Family spent less than 5 minutes because it was too cold. Breakfast was decent. Hours are a bit limited with 6-9 but we managed. One of the mornings my husband said he witnessed the breakfast being taken down and cleaned up at 845 then a few people walked in but notabletoeat

The facility was short staffed. The hallway floors hadn't been vacuumed. There was an ear plug left on the floor in the room, the hair dryer didn't work, and the mattress base on one of the beds had a rip in it. The beds were comfortable, though.

Great Leadership
Its a Quality Inn.. Fair stay at a fair price. It was clean. Breakfast was good and hot. What made my stay though was the managers that were working double shifts running the front desk, doing laundry, sweeping, and just working hard. All with smiles on their faces. It felt good that they care about their work! Lead by example and smiled and were frienfly.
