In LOVE with Tall Cotton!
As soon as we pulled up to the property, we instantly fell in love with the quaint and hospitable environment of Tall Cotton! The cherry on top were the bluebonnets in bloom surrounding the home, the sweet and friendly dogs that welcome you as soon as you drive up, and the lovely outdoor seating area to provide more common space while staying. When we first walked into the tiny house, I was impressed with how lovely it smelled, and how clean, efficient, cozy the home was overall. 5/5 would absolutely recommend!

Loved My Stay at Tall Cotton
My spouse and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely, quaint little tiny home. I only wish I knew of the fire pit and outdoor benches available beforehand, so I knew to bring spare wood and outdoor grub. The host was friendly and her cute dog was too.

It’s definitely tiny but had all the things we needed and was close to Krause springs and wineries in the area. We didn’t use the outdoor fire pit because it was very hot during our visit but the ac worked great.

Relaxing getaway
Cute tiny house-perfect for a weekend stay. Host was gracious and accessible and communicated with us so there were no issues finding the house etc The property is away from the hustle and bustle of city life but close enough to great restaurants, wineries and the lake if you want to get out and explore. Highly recommend!!

Great get away
The stay was very good. The area was relatively quiet. There was some music that could be heard through the woods when we arrived but it was not disturbing. The rest of the stay we were surrounded by the pleasing sounds of birds and nature. It made for a peaceful experience. I would recommend this area for anyone who just wants to get away. I would have liked to stay a little longer to explore the area around the cabin. The host was accommodating and very nice. PS - Cell signal is spotty. This was no problem. It was actually quite nice.

Loved staying here for one night. Lois was gracious and accommodating. The home was roomier than expected on the inside. Enjoyed the novelty of the ladder lowered from the ceiling. The AC worked great and the water was hot and cold instantly. As a bonus, I saw two of the happiest looking dogs playing together in the morning. It was quiet, cozy, and comfortable. I only wish I could have stayed longer and hope to bring my sisters sometime.

Wonderful quiet retreat
My husband and I wanted an unplugged night away, and this was the perfect spot. The host is sweet and personable, her dogs are adorable, and she allowed us to bring both our dogs to enjoy the vacation with us. The covered sitting area with a grill, fire pit, and relaxing views was a perfect way to unwind. I highly recommend this tiny house in the country if you want to get away from it all in peace.

Loved Tall Cotton!
We had to leave early because of unexpected needs back home, but we had a wonderful time at Tall Cotton. We saw 7-8 deer, roasted hot dogs and marshmellows in the fire pit, and saw more stars than we ever see in the big city. Lois was great (and bonus, her pups were adorable). We will be booking again soon!

It is a tiny house, but you're not there for that! It was a great outdoor spot with beautiful country and dog parties. Shower was bigger than expected. It's a tiny home, what did you expect?

Pretty quiet and secluded getaway. Off the paved road for sure.
My 6ft husband had slight cramping up in the lofted bedroom. Nothing to complain about though, just a heads up for you talk folk! Very peaceful and away from the fuss! Very chill.

My husband, dog and I stayed here for 1 night and it was just what we needed. The gravel road to the property off 404 was pretty bumpy so we'd recommend an SUV if you visit, but otherwise super cute. Very clean, easy door keypad, secluded and had a fun outdoor sitting area.

My 8 year old daughter and I stayed in Tall Cotton for two nights in July. It was cozy for the two of us and well laid out. The a/c was COLD and the water pressure was amazing! We went to Krause Springs nearby and enjoyed the deer playing in the back yard. My daughter said, “ when I have kids, I’m bringing them here!” Very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Lois was great!

Super cute and cozy tiny house. All amenities tasteful and convenient. For me the bed was super comfy. Slept like a log. I am 5’1” so I think for taller people may be a little squeeze. Only thing I would suggest to the host is to add reading light in the bed area . Road to the house is rough. Ok if in SUV. I would definitely stay there again. Host is excellent!

Was Perfect For a Quick Getaway
We needed a convenient place to stay for the weekend while we did a lot of running around. This tiny house was in a nice location and Lois was really sweet. It really is a tiny house so best for one but if you and your partner are on the smaller side like us, it totally works.

The Perfect Getaway!
My boyfriend and I wanted to go somewhere peaceful and away from the everyday hustle. We definitely found that and so much more at Tall Cotton. The perfect to relax and recharge after all the feels of getting married! Waking up to the sounds of nature was amazing. Lively outside area with a fire pit. Tall Cotton is the best!
Our weekend stay at Tall Cotton was everything I hoped it would be and much more! The tiny house is adorable, cozy, clean, with everything you need. We enjoyed nature walks near the property, sitting by the fire, and cooking up some Super Bowl food on the charcoal grill. Super close proximity to Opies (delicious BBQ) and Stonehouse winery. We also saw probably 20 deer! Lois is a kind, communicative host. I’d love to come back again soon. 10/10!

Quite place to get away
My boyfriend and I loved staying here. Close to Austin but still far enough out that we could enjoy the quite and get out of the city. We stayed on New Year's weekend and there were a lot of fireworks in the area. We thought this was a pleasant surprise but if it's not for you may want to consider a different time to stay here. The cabin is clearly loved and well-maintained. Small but cozy. If small spaces are not for you, you may want to consider that. Overall we had a great restful weekend. Would definitely visit Tall Cotton again!

I’m from the city. This was my Very first time using Vrbo and staying on someone else’s property. I have a large dog and fiancé. We came and we enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy. Lois was friendly and let us do our thing, which was relaxing and walking our dog. Our large dog loved the area. Neighbor dog was friendly and didn’t cause any problems. Cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. A/C was excellent. Sleeping area was fine for me and Iam a large guy. We played a drinking game with one of the books left to read. The sitting area was awesome. A great experience!!

This little space was exactly what my boyfriend and I were hoping it would be! We spent the day out at Marble Falls playing in his Jeep and wanted somewhere quiet to unplug after. As soon as we arrived Lois met us and gave us a rundown of the space. She let us know about the fire pit area and the trails to her creek. After we returned from dinner (many options nearby!) we got a fire going, made s’mores and shared some with Lois and a friend before tucking ourselves away in the covered outdoor “living room” with a bottle of wine. It is tiny, with no tv or Internet, and it was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to go back!
