This was not as advertised. There isn't a safe path to the water, and once you get there it looks post-apocolyptic at best thanks to the alligator gar skeletons and murky water.
Also, this says it sleeps 4, but there's only a full size bed in the corner of the room. So it sleeps 2 uncomfortably close.
We left shortly after we arrived.
Our host contacted me personally to welcome us and make sure the a/c was at a comfortable level. Property was surrounded by other little eccentric little houses. He also wished us safe travels when we checked out. I did not like the idea that we couldn’t adjust the a/c ourselves and there was not a tv. You do need to be able to walk up and down a very steep ramp to get to the river. There was hot water but the shower was a rainfall faucet with a curtain that wrapped around and clung to you as you showered. The door was lockable but it didn’t feel secured. It was a clean room. If you want to just sit outside and BBQ and do yoga this might be a place for you. It was peaceful but not a place we will personally visit again.
The day of my check no check in details had been posted. I had to reach out multiple times to ask for them, I messaged via the app at 6pm, called at 7pm, was told they would be sent via text, I didn't receive them until 10:19pm at which point I'd already reserved elsewhere. I was told I would receive a full refund, but when I inquired about it days later I was told there was nothing preventing me from going to the property and the owners didn't feel a refund was warranted.
What a beautiful property!! It was very quiet and peaceful. There were multiple places to sit on the property such as hammocks or in the comfy chairs placed next to the waterfall, all which sit under their large old oak trees.
The boat dock was a so much fun! We even went swimming. You can also fish or just enjoy the serenity of the birds and cliffs across the river. In the evening you couldn’t hear a pin drop at the dock.
The wildlife was amazing. There were vultures, beautiful birds and herds of deer everywhere, so be sure to drive slowly and carefully.. It doesn’t matter what time of the day.
The deer were on the property as well and it wasn’t uncommon to see them walk down to the docks to drink water in the evening.
The property also had outdoor games, grills and a place set for us to sit and meditate. Thank you so much for the beautiful experience! I will be back!
This property was very gorgeous and obviously well suited for guests with everything well labeled. The only thing I wish that would change would be faster WiFi, steam cleaning the carpets, and bottled water available in the fridge.

Secluded Solo Vacation
I chose this property to get away from the ebbs and flows of busy city life. The environment was peaceful, relaxing, and overall rejuvenating. Exploring the property, there were multiple places to sit and unwind. Whether you wanted to be by the river, curl up with a good book next to their waterfall, or feel enveloped by the bustling leaves of the gorgeous trees, this place was an absolute dream to reset the mind and body. I highly suggest this place if you want to get away from it all.
The owner also has a gorgeous Golden Retriever which makes the place all the more worth checking out!

Cute upstairs getaway
We rented the upstairs cottage for the weekend to be close to a race on Saturday. The stained glass doors into the unit are beautiful and the bathroom is very pretty. The grounds are spectacular and you have use of the boat dock on the water. If we had more time I'm sure we would have hung out there more. The kitchenette was adequate for basic food, we could make tacos and sandwiches.
The winery just up the road is very nice and we spent some time there and at the one just 10 miles away.
Such a beautiful location, there were deer all over, you had to drive slow because they jump out of the bushes and run across the road right in front of you!

Cottage by the lake
A very relaxing place! We enjoyed swimming and fishing off of the dock.
Denise-a friend if the owner went over and beyond of making us feel welcomed and comfortable.
Winery a short distance
Deer everywhere---so fun to see in a natural setting
While the accommodations is a 5 star the location is a bit remote. 30 min drive one way from basically everything. We didn't mind but just wanted to let others know about the area.

Remote, Relaxing, Rejuvenating
I honestly can't say enough nice things about this property and its new caretakers Jordan and Emma. From the moment we arrived every effort was made for us to feel at home and at ease. The property is artistic and every building it seems has a story. There are ample amenities like grills if you want to cook, hammocks if you're wanting to relax and a dock where you can sit and contemplate why you don't move here yourself. Jordan is an excellent chef and cooked a number of mouth watering meals for us! Emma was always available by email or phone to answer any little question we had. They were full of great tips about the surrounding area and were just all around nice, friendly, helpful, cool people. We will definitely be back! Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Incredible and relaxing place
Beautiful setting on Lake Travis for a girl's week-end. We were greeted warming by Jordan and shown to the cottage. It was perfect and we had a great view of the lake. We both had a Thai massage with Travis. It was the perfect way to start the week-end and I highly recommend it.
Saturday and Sunday mornings we had private yoga classes with Lauren. I was recovering from surgery and was still on restricted activity so Lauren modified poses for me and also did some shoulder pressure point relaxation techniques.
We went to Krause Springs during the day on Saturday and had a great time at the beautiful natural springs.
Relaxing in the evenings on the floating cabin with a glass a wine and watching the sunset was a great time.
I highly recommend Living Waters.

I miss it already...
We were wowed. The facilities here are so nice, the grounds lovely and the quiet atmosphere was EXACTLY what we wanted. We felt like we had the place all to ourselves, even though we know a couple of people were there for a day or two. The darkness at night allows for star gazing, the warm sun and water are inviting, the shade is cooling. Wonderful. Our accommodations were very much up to our expectations and very clean and comfy. One note, the well water here is smelly, but if you leave some out over night, the smell goes away and the water is ready to use. Communication with the managers was always clear and concise. We are already talking about returning later this year.
