We chose this place because we like the town which is beautiful. We were able to walk the small streets of Spello and take photos of the flowers and the wall made of beautiful stones. The place has a little sitting area, a kitchenette and a nice shower. Internet was fast. Our trip is mostly business, at night we were able to backup the photos we took onto our computer and answer emails. The host is very kind and helpful. Parking is free.

Modern apartment in a very old building in Spello
This is a very modern apartment in a very old building. The location is right in Spello so you are close to everything. Very clean and everything worked as it should. And very comfortable. The owner was especially helpful. She not only recommended excellent restaurants but she also helped when my wife became ill. She told us about the clinic in town and then followed up often to check on my wife's health. We stayed an extra night so my wife could better recover. We highly recommend.

Great place to stay in a friendly town
La Residenza dei Cappuccini is an inexpensive, very nice place to stay in the beautiful hill town of Spello. It's an apartment, not a hotel room, and is situated at the top of a "vertical" town (that is, a town that one walks through "vertically," not "horizontally"). The neighborhood around La Residenza is great -- picturesque, and full of friendly local people, saluting you with "Bon Giorno." The one unpleasant feature of staying there had to do with the WI-FI. It was set up so that we had to re-submit our identification and password each time after logging off. That got to be an unnecessary inconvenience. But in every other way, it was a very convenient (with fridge and stove) and beautiful place to stay in a charming little town.

Absolutely brilliant
Delightful town with beautiful streets and great atmosphere. Truly a town you must see. The accomadation was excellent very clean and would recommend to our friends. Our host was great and very helpful.

Great find
Modern and clean apartments a few minutes from restaurants and shopping. Parking is a few blocks away so arrange to meet at a specific time to get the keys and parking pass, then drop off your bags and park.

Great apartment in a wonderful town
La Residenza consists of several properties within the main medieval town of Spello. My wife and I stayed 3 nights in one of these properties — a spacious one-bedroom apartment on Via Maddelena that included a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a large outdoor patio. While we never fully availed ourselves of the all these amenities, it was nice to have so much space to spread out and relax in. The only minor issue we had was with the WiFi, which worked, but was a little spotty with connection. This would probably be a great place to use as a base camp for a week or more of exploring all that Umbria has to offer. Spello is a beautiful and impeccably maintained town with great food and friendly people, so it makes for perfect starting point. Not sure what the other La Residenza properties are like, but I think you would be safe to assume they would be at least as nice as the one we stayed in.

Fantastic
Wonderful set of apartments in the centre of Spello. Spello itself is a beautiful little Italian hilltop town with stunning cobbled streets. If you're looking for real Italy, look no further! The apartment was perfect for the two of us (there are larger apartments available). If you have a car there is free parking just outside of the wall - 2min walk. Maria was very welcoming, she met us at the car park, talked us through the local restaurants etc. Very helpful. The only slight downside is no AC in the apartment - there was none in any build hotel or otherwise inside the old town. I can't recommend Spello and the apartment enough.

Nice apartment in Spello
Convenient location in Spello with parking nearby. Monia met us to show us how to access the apartment and made us very welcome. Spello is a small hill town across the valley from Assisi. Very clean with modern fittings. Stayed September 2016.

We had a great week! Wonderful location for walking, sightseeing and exploring Umbria! I would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends! Monia was a terrific hostess - wonderful recommendations! (The only slightest addition could be bigger pillows on the day bed in the living area to make relaxing a bit more comfortable!)

Bell'appartamento, in una posizione ottimale: parcheggo a 5 min a piedi, in una vietta tranquilla in uno dei borghi più belli dell'Umbria. La signora Monia, proprietaria della struttura, è molto gentile e disponibile.

Lugnt och skönt kvarter och närheten till restauranger, sevärdheter. Mycket fin och mysig stad! Trevligt bemötande av värd vid parkering och visning av lägenhet. Extra att få husets marmelad, kaffe, te, olja vinäger! Fanns en liten karta över staden men hade gärna sett lite tips om sevärdheter. Värden berättade om sådana men inte lätt att komma ihåg . Vi sov mycket gott !

Ambiente pulito e camera da letto molto particolare col soffitto a volta come nelle foto. Troppo fredfo e umido per essere veramente accogliente come dovrebbe essere. Valutazione quindi buona ma non ottima come potrebbe essere.

Meraviglioso appartamento al centro di spello
Esperienza bellissima, appartamento meraviglioso completo di ogni confort di ogni genere, anche le stoviglie sono nuovissime e pulite. In cucina abbiamo trovato pure il caffè con la caffettiera che abbiamo usato insieme alle tazze nuovissime. La proprietaria cordialissima è sempre disponibile e pronta ad ogni richiesta. E infine Spello è un paese bellissimo dove abbiamo trascorso due giorni indimenticabili. Grazie Monia
