The only reason I didn’t give it 4 stars was because of some confusion with changing the date for the room… we ended up having to pay like $100 more which I probably would have planned something else… plus it was our honeymoon and they kept saying happy anniversary… Other than that it was really nice"

"Love this property. We have been here several times. Great views, amenities, and staff. The only fault was the loud wedding party that was drunk in the hallways until past 2 am. My family didn’t get any sleep and totally ruined our early morning hike the next day. The staff were apologetic and provided a small credit. I would come again but disappointed in this stay due to the circumstances."

"We had a great weekend stay in the Cougar House, close to great hikes and gorgeous scenery. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our visit. We walked to breakfast at the Lone Pine Resort and dinner at the Cougar Bar & Grill- both great places with friendly staff. We're already planning another trip to explore the area more."

"Excellent for big groups going to the lake. Brought 2 16 foot boats and plenty of room for parking.Downstairs was great for hanging out and I am sure there are some great memories made there. Definitely will be back to explore the lake and area again."
