"We stayed in the MIL suite for two nights. Using it for a jumping off point for visits to the Cuchara Ski area and the Great Sand Dunes. The place was comfortable a spotless! Would highly recommend!"
"We enjoyed our stay at this charming little house. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the decor is interesting. Check in and check out were easy. The house is close to Main St. and the mule deer in the yard every morning were entertaining. I would second what a previous reviewer said about wishing that the living room furniture was more comfortable, which did not encourage us to spend much time in this room."
"If you want some peace and quiet from the road . This little place fits the bill perfectly. It is secluded and tucked away. The area surrounding it is a goldmine of culture, languages and scenery. 14,000 foot peaks an hour away. Charming small towns tucked away in remote areas. An adventure."
"Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! Space enough for quiet times and group times, indoors and outdoors on the large 2nd floor deck and individual decks. Windows everywhere had us feeling we shared the outdoors in privacy. Hearing birds and the Cuchara River through open windows was a joy. Every bedroom is nice; there isn’t a bedroom that isn’t great. Huge theater-quality TV if you have an event you want to watch. Loved the spacious kitchens, high tech bathrooms, and great radiant floor heating (no need for fireplace). And hosts were pleasant and very responsive!"
